A very COZY resort hotel in Ajigasawa, AomoriThis is a great Hot Spring resort hotel I have ever been, with a great sea view and you can enjoy the super sunset view if arrived at the right moment !! Awesome experience and of course their foods are also wonderful to try especially the breakfast buffet, you should not miss it.

My 2nd Stay - It is Great.I like older vintage or boutique style hotels. This hotel is wonderful even if it isnt brand new. It has a great lobby to gather in, and friendly staff. My room was very well appointed in traditional Japanese style with tatami mats. The amenities include different kinds of loose tea, yukata, slippers, and pillows for sitting on the floor. Breakfast is included and served from 7-9am. There is a public bath (hotsprinf) as well. Id like to vacation here and only wish my stay was longer. I took

Excellent Outdoor Onsen ViewI love everything about this hotel. The food, the place and the people. The outdoor onsen was excellent, open space with sea view and snow, especially the snowing morning, that's priceless. Outdoor pool was kinda small but most of the time I was alone there. First time trying sea water onsen, good experience though. Dinner and breakfast was great. 2 different menu for dinner. However, if you don't speak any Japanese, you may find difficulties communicate with them. I speak average Japanese, so overall it's an excellent experience and wish to go back there next winter. Western style room kinda small, but still consider ok. If I were to visit this place for the second time, I will definitely book for the seaview Japanese style room.

Lovely seaside resortThis place was an unexpected delight on the windswept and remote northwestern coast of Honshu. Great sea views, good food, relaxing bath. I have only stayed in the Japanese-style room, but would definitely recommend it! Ajigasawa is a wonderful town that is worth exploring (although this is easier to do with a car). That said, if you only have time to do a brief stopover while traveling along the Gono Line, the hotel has a shuttle that can take you to/from the station.

Great view, love the buffet! Was there on a 3 day package tour which includes flight + room + round trip transportation provided by the hotel to and from Aomori airport with my family. It was a great deal since it is considered off-peak season in mid February. Pros: 1) great choice of western/japanese food-half buffet, half fixed meals included for breakfast and dinner 2) Shamisen (traditional Japanese three string guitar) mini concert at the lounge nightly 3) both ocean and mountain view with weather permitting 4) relaxing onsen spa 5) souvenir/mini mart shop near lobby area Cons: 1) harder to sightsee on your own without a rental car, though walkable (15-20 minutes) to the nearest station, Ajigasawa, on the famous Gono Line. We managed to sightsee on our own on the second day by going north to Goshogawara first to take the Tsugaru Line, then going south to Fukaura using the Gono Line, but you need to pre-plan and check the time table very carefully because the train services are very limited. Would help if the hotel provides more detailed information for sightseeing such as free shuttle services etc. to Ajigasawa station along with the time table for example visible signs in multiple languages in the lobby area, more info in the room voucher, or might as well make use of the 90 minute shuttle ride to the hotel and/or simply ask and give us suggestions when we check-in.
