  Beautifully restored old hotel with great rooms

  I've stayed in a lot of pub rooms over the years, and Hotel Gosford is probably the best of them. I spent 4 nights there last week. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Mine had a bar fridge and TV. Housekeeping comes in daily and leave the room in perfect condition. The interior is beautifully old-style. Shared bathrooms are very clean and have plenty of hot water. Right across the road from Gosford Station and the bus interchange, and a short walk to a ton of great places to eat, including the hotel's own bistro, which has great food. Also has free wifi. The rooms are far better than you would expect for the price and I would definitely stay there again.

  Perfect for what I needed it for

  The hotel was perfect - stayed for two nights while visiting terrigal and avoca. Right by a few bus stops so I could get around the city easily. The staff were very kind and helpful. There was a fridge in the room which was amazing. There are shared bathrooms, which I was a bit weary about but they were clean and close to my room. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

  Good to be back after shutdown. Same excellent food and great service. Keep up the great work. Appreciated. And of course highlyrecommend. See for yourself.Go visit sometime if you are in the area, worth it.

  Never had a bad feed here. Quantity, quality, and good pricing. Staff are always helpful, friendly, and know how to have a good laugh and joke. Some nice craft beers. How bout putting on another craft beer

  Close to Public Transport you

  I recently stayed 3 nights. Double/ensuite room, small, but clean and comfortable. Bar fridge, soft towels, pillows okay, plenty of hot water, small soap bar supplied. Overhead fan. Looks like air-conditioning is being installed in rooms, during current hotel renovations, but wasn't working when I was there. Luckily, the weather was mild during my stay. The large window did open, let in breeze, but room 203 was close to kitchen exhaust fans, so had to close window in evening, till at least 9pm, due to food smells. Hotel is close to trains+bus interchange, and the pub food in bar area was very good. The 'ye olde' lift, does work OK, but don't catch your hand in the doors, they close quickly.
