  Lovely hotel

  We stayed here as our base when we went to Kiev . It is in a suburb where there are embassies etc and is a nice area . Within a short walk is an array of shops and attractions and we thought it was much nicer than central Kiev. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and rooms are really nice. The breakfast is a buffet and is plentiful. We are returning and will stay here again

  The price was ok. The price for the breakfast is too much. If you like to have a massive breakfast is good because you pay 6 and they cook for you what you want but if you are a simple breakfast eater (coffee, pancake and fruit) the price is too much. The lady that cook is really nice and a great cooker! The room was clean and the toilets too. The people in the desk did not speak english at all (any of them) so they could not explain places to eat or where to go, but they provided us with a map. The location of the hotel is good and they cleaned the toilet everyday.

  Great location in the heart of the city

  This hotel beats the other large chain hotels in my opinion, staff were friendly and the hotel address is beautiful. We didn't eat breakfast here simply because there are so many options around the town square.

  No room service, no bar, no restaurant

  I would avoid coming here unless you speak good Russian or Ukrainian. I speak very basic Russian which was not good enough to sort out problems & nobody seems to speak English or any other major European languages. I chose this hotel as the description said there was room service, a restaurant & bar. As a solo traveller, I prefer room service for my evening meal so I was rather annoyed to be told the restaurant was closed on my first night & I tried again on the second night to be told it was closed again. No reason given & my Russian isnt good enough to discuss more in depth. I took a picture of the room service menu below which clearly says it is available until 9pm. The light sensor in the corridor did not work meaning I had to use my phone as a torch. The immediate area is nice & old but not suitable for the less mobile. Its hilly with cobbled stones. The rooms were clean & simple & there was a basic minibar. Only half a toilet roll was provided with no spare. Other inconveniences were that I could not switch on the bedroom light unless I switched the bathroom one on too! There is no plug socket near the bed, nor a bedside lamp, nor a light switch. Kiev is a very nice city but Id advise staying elsewhere & checking reviews carefully to ensure there is no false advertising. I feel a bit cheated that I paid for facilities that do not exist!

  All is well.

  Very best memories and lots of thanks to the stuff. Great location, good price and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend for your stay in Kiev. Room is good size and clean. Beds are OK but not too bad. Extremely helpful stuff.
