  Excelente hotel tanto para una corta estadía como para una mas larga.

  ENTORNO DEL HOTEL: Ubicado sobre la calle principal de la ciudad, a unos 100 mts al norte de la ribera del lago y a 1000 mts del centro comercial de la ciudad. En su alrededor hay comercios, restaurantes, tiendas, heladerías, bares. EDIFICIO: Es moderno de diseño elegante, acogedor. Ubicado en la esquina de la calle principal (Viale Robereto) y una pequeña calle transversal (Via Belluno). En su frente se encuentra una piscina muy bonita rodeada de plantas, el corredor de entrada al hotel y el estacionamiento para coches. En la parte posterior del edificio también se puede estacionar. LOBY: es amplio, cómodo, con buenos sillones y decorado muy elegante. HABITACIONES: nos alojamos en una habitación del piso 5 con vista al lago y a la piscina, moderna, de decoración elegante, confortable, limpia, soleada, no amplia pero suficiente. Cama cómoda y amplia, ropa de cama de calidad, buen colchón y almohada, ropero mediano, buena iluminación natural y también artificial, caja fuerte, café, te, pava electrica, balcón con vista al lago, suficientes enchufes o tomacorrientes. AIRE ACONDICIONADO: dada la agradable temperatura ambiente no lo encendimos. FRIGOBAR: hay. PUERTAS: se abren con tarjeta. BAÑO: baño pequeño pero cómodo, el lavabo sobre mesada, bidet, inodoro, ducha de pié, secador de cabello, shampoó, jabón, amenities. Toallas de calidad. TV: tv plana, la mayoría de los canales en italiano. TABLA DE PLANCHAR/PLANCHA: no hay en la habitación. PERSONAL: todo el personal tanto en recepción, comedor, servicio de habitaciones fué muy eficiente, cordial, atento, amable, servicial. RESTAURANTE: es cómodo, amplio, elegante, moderno. DESAYUNO: lo teníamos incluido, en general de buena calidad, con dulces, quesos, fiambres, frutas, cafe, te, los panes y croisans no eran de calidad como los que se encuentran en los hoteles franceses. ASCENSORES: dos ascensores pequeños. INTERNET: gratuito y de buena velocidad. PARKING-ESTACIONAMIENTO: gratuito, un parking delante del hotel y otro por detrás. VIDA NOCTURNA: restaurantes, bares, pubs en los alrededores

  Great ervice

  We booked via TUI which was quite cost effective particularly as a private transfer from Verona airport is quite expensive. However TUI only offer standard rooms on their web site but we contacted the hotel direct and booked a 5th floor suite and paid the difference direct to the hotel. Room was good but the Mountain view isn't all it is cracked up to be. Evening meal was very good and it was particularly pleasing to have it served to your table. Breakfast is fine, pretty standard buffet style. All the Staff are first class. (Particular mention to the Bar Manager). Pool area whilst small is set out nice and we didn't have any problem getting a sun bed. (As others have mentioned the roof top sun terrace is particularly nice with great views). Free bike hire is good and there are some nice (flat !) cycle routes around the lake. The only "negatives" are the bar area which isn't very welcoming plus the poor evening entertainment. However there are 2 other Tonelli hotels within 100 yards of Hotel Garda and you are very welcome to go there in the Evenings. We used this option (not well publicised) most evenings and had some nice entertainment. Location of the hotel is great with only a short walk to the lake.

  Great hotel & Staff

  This hotel was everything we needed. I travelled with a friend, we had a twin room. The room was bit dated and the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom but other than that it was fine. the beds were comfy. There were robes and slippers in our wardrobe for us to use around the pool. The staff were very friendly. We were half board, this was a different half board to what I was used to. You were allocated a dinning table for the duration of your stay, I liked this as we never had to look for somewhere to stay. Breakfast was always buffet with lots to choose from but the dinners were A La Carte - you were given a menu at breakfast which you would choose your evening meal from. They were always very tasty and well presented. You also had a Buffet choice as a starter to your evening meal. We would definitely stay here again! A tip for travelling the other towns around the lake: buy a Lago Alto ticket for 22 - this allows you to hop on and off of the ferry. We went to Limone and Malcesine. They are beautiful towns and a must see! Also, a Hugo Spritzer is now my favourite drink!

  Amazing food and beautiful room.

  Greeted by friendly reception staff who spoke great English. We stayed in the Garda Suite for 7 nights (If I remember right, we were upgraded when we arrived, what a really pleasant surprise). The hotel is just off the main road that travels through Riva Del Garda, therefore just a short walk from the lake shore. We could see the lake from the hotel room which was always very clean, had two balconies with great views and an amazing shower. The food was the highlight for us. Breakfast was plentiful with a huge assortment to suit all tastes'. At dinner you chose from 3 prima courses, 3 meat courses and 3 desserts. Every meal was amazing. Our stay was in September 2019 and I can still recall the beetroot spaghetti and the amazing burrata cheese. There was very much a personal family presence in the hotel, leading to us feeling very welcome. Before leaving we booked for the following year, planning to stay with our two miniature schnauzers. Hotel Garda closed for the year but we were given the choice of another two Tonelli hotels in Riva, choosing Savoy as we had the dogs. You can also hire bikes and participate in a weekly yoga session. We loved how the Tonelli family and their fabulous team made us feel on each stay.

  Late summer trip

  My boyfriend and I stayed here in late September as part of Topflight booking. The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. The location is great if you want to do water sports while in Riva. The walk to the old town is about 15mins, and is a nice stroll along the lake, or you can follow the main road. We had our breakfast and dinner included in the stay so we ate at the hotel most evenings. I have a dairy intolerance and the staff were very accommodating of it. One waitress in particular, Sonia, was amazing. I am used to never having a dessert option available but she made particular attention to get me a dairy-free dessert every evening. She was also very friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. It was my birthday during the stay, we ate outside the hotel that night and there was a complimentary bottle of prosecco placed in our hotel when we returned. We really appreciated that!
