Lovely hotel, friendly staffWe have just got back from our week stay and overall it was a lovely getaway. The hotel staff were polite, the lady in reception when we got there was a little grumpy but I can understand why as she probably we assumed we were like most other British guests there (intitled). The rooms were clean and a good size, the cleaner was friendly. Our waitress Mariane was lovely, my step son loved her and she was very fond of him too. She has a tough job keeping everyone happy and always had a smile on her face. The only downside to the holiday were the fellow British holidaymakers, one family complained as you had to pay 2.50 for a bottle of water with tea but this is what you expect when you go on a half board holiday. Another couple always had something to complain about even though the restaurant did everything they could to help with their dietary requirement. I have certain dietary requirements, for every meal they asked me what I would like for the next day and most days they cooked me something totally different to cater for my needs. The food has limited choices but my husband and son loved every meal and they are fussy eaters. The pools were lovely and clean, there were plenty of free sunbeds everyday and only about maximum 6 guests in the pool at one time (which is not bad for the last week if july) we really recommend this hotel if you are looking for a little break away in limone.

Good HolidayMy wife and I travelled to Limone on the 8th of June with Tui, the flight was by Ernest Air the flight was fine no problems, the service was slow due to Ernest only accepting euros or card payments. the hotel transfer took 2 hrs 25 minutes, the coach cannot stop outside the hotel so you are taken from the lakeside to the hotel by mini bus which is a further delay after a long transfer.the receptionist was pleasant although very little advice was offered. we had booked a standard room we were very disappointed with it, were on the 1st floor in a dark corner and the balcony was overlooked from either side no privacy at all. I complained to reception only to be told that the hotel was full. I insisted that the room was not up to standard and the receptionist said she would speak with the manager, the next morning we had a new room on the same floor away from the corner which was fine. Food was better than we expected, I did have a couple of meals that I wasn't keen on though, our waitress tried but often brought the wrong food, you had to fill out a menu card the night before which ok for us but if you didn't like what was on offer thats all you got. limone is a very nice resort and the boat trips are a great way to get around the lake, the weather was very good also, overall we enjoyed the holiday we would return to limone but not this hotel.

Okay - nothing more or lessLarge hotel, rather old fashioned. Everything looked like it was decorated early 1990-ies. Clean. Everybody assumes you are German (as 90% of guests are German - but also true for all tourists in Limone). Breakfast ok but not very fancy. Staff very nice in general, with the odd exception. Avoid snack-food at the pool-bar!! Worst sandwich I have *ever* been served... Orherwise pool area was nice, and not very crowded. Lots of areas to sit and read, or sun-bathe, so you never get a crowded feeling. Room clean and ok.

18 months late; stayed in June 2018I stayed here with a friend in June 2018, not Dec'18 (only option I could choose). This was part of a package deal. The hotel says 4* but I'd say closer to 3*...basic, clean. Good location near the bus stop and river boats. Staff were efficient. The deal included meals on a half board basis, the food was average throughout our stay. The room was cleaned regularly. I'd certainly return to Lake Garda, but would stay elsewhere as I'm used to a higher accommodation standard. Also the room we had was on the lower ground floor and the patio door opened next to the escalator used by the public to access the ground floor and main street - not ideal!

Lovely locationThe room was perfect for the 2 of us, we had a view over the lake and mountains. The food was good, breakfast was buffet, but plenty of choice, and the evening meal , you had a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains, and the desserts were ice cream, sorbet, or a lovely light piece of cake. We couldnt fault the location, just a short walk to the ferry, or bus park if you were on a trip. The rooms were cleaned every day, lovely comfy beds. One of the receptionists was a bit grumpy, but everyone else was fine. The hairdryer in the room was terrible, but that was the only thing we had a moan about. There was entertainment on one night, Thursday, which really got everyone together. The bar area was nearly empty all the other nights, but the music brought everyone together. We went to Riva, Malcesine, Verona, and a trip around the lake, and it was a fabulous week.
