  Nice property for quick stay

  This is an older property, but has a nice, very reasonably rate room. I felt safe and secure. I love the old stairs in the building, highly recommend taking them at least once. There is a restaurant attached, but I didnt eat there. They provided coffee downstairs and in room.

  Business Trip

  Very good comfortable room, pleasant employees who were very accommodating. I have stayed here previously for business trips and have had good experiences. Employees are always very kind and take care if I have any needs.

  Charming Historical Hotel

  Enjoyed our stay. We have recommended the location to several friends and will stay at this location in the future. Less expensive than most with MORE character and charm than most. Excellent value. See the room tip below.

  Appreciate the discount but not the best hotel

  We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Arkansas Childrens Hospital and my son was having surgery. They discounted our room because my son was in the hospital and I do appreciate that very much. But being a Choice hotel, I expected more. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 4:30 and a room wasnt ready until 5:20. We got a double room the first night. It was clean and comfortable but had gnats. When checking out, we reserved a room for the following night so they said it would be ready when we got back from the hospital. We arrived back at 6pm after an entire day at the hospital and no room ready. We had to wait again. Again, the king room had a comfortable bed but had gnats, sprinkler hanging down, plug in hanging out in bathroom and non functional, and the door wouldnt lock behind us when leaving. We couldn't leave belongings in the room because we couldn't lock it. I had to blow dry my hair in another room and straighten it by the bed and just walk back and forth checking my hair in the mirror. The hotel is just run down and not run well not having our room ready 2 days in a row. And I'm not sure what caused the gnats, 2 different floors on 2 different nights but they got on our food, in our drinks, and on our toothbrushes.

  HORRIBLE

  Employees did not speak she just looked at me with a stank look on her face. Every question I asked her she rolled her eyes,I tried my best to look over it. I did not even get her name, but she had short hair with glasses. I was told by another employee that she had an attitude because they had no housekeepers to clean up the rooms from the day before. I'm still trying to figure out what that had to do with me. The carpet in the hallways looked like they had blood stains on them. Carts were just sitting in the hall, I would think that the cart needed to be put back in the work area. The ice machine area had trash all the floor. When I got into the room the bathtub had black spots, behind the toilet had brown spots and urine on the wall. I did not use the towels or even use the bathroom all night I went to a nearby store. I felt so disgusted. The bed was even broke. I did not say anything to the staff because the front desk lady had an attitude already. They should be charging $30 for the rooms. That night when I stepped into the hallway to go to the store it smelled like marijuana. I will never go back to this hotel again in my life. Matter fact I might not even go back to little rock that's how upset they made me. Was not even a microwave or fridge in the room.
