  Excellent, but without aircondition

  This is a three star hotel, but it feels like more. The hotel is run by a family and sure feels like it. They help you with everything and makes you feel special. Heck, we even got the son to drive us around nearby to tell us about the local history. And this was suggested by him! It is situated 6 kilometers from Porec city centre, so a car is necessary if you want to get around. There are not grocery stores within walking distance. Car is a nice way and a necessity as taxis are hard to get. No fridge in the room. There is no pool, but they have a 4 man bubble bath which is excellent in the evenings. Breakfast is simple but fresh with fruit and vegetables. They make dinner on request. It is cheap, but we did only try soup, which was okay. The room we had (106) was enormous; a big living room, separate double room and even a little open attic with a separate bed. Beware that there is no air condition and a lot of mosquitos, so choose your evil. They sprayed the surroundings with pesticides one night in our one week stay. It helped a bit but made noise like an airplane going in for landing. For the first time, internet was actually working. Without many hiccups, streaming Netflix was no problem. Recommended if you want a small and calm hotel.

  Great stay

  I find hotel Filipini as a real gem among places to stay in around Porec. Family who runs the hotel and space provide an environment for disconnecting from devices, keys, card, screens and stuff. A lot of nature around the hotel, delicious home grown food, enjoyable hosts and vintage style rooms makes your stay totally relaxing. Definitely recommended!

  Wonderful, friendly family run B&B

  Goran and his family were wonderful, friendly and personable and offered great homemade breakfasts with lovely marinated tomatoes, grilled zucchini, eggs which changed daily and lovely fruit! They also were very helpful with our needs and offered great tips about beaches and area in general. Jacuzzi was a bonus!

  Quaint country inn

  Very friendly, accomodating family run B&B. Service was outstanding. Food was fabulous. Enjoyed large breakfast. Custom ordered 5 course dinner that was outstanding. Family went over and above to make sure we were comfortable. Definitely recommend and would return.

  Check twice your bill, we felt cheated!

  Great family hotel, Great food, big rooms, clean, but short beds. Check twice your bill, we felt cheated! We had to pay for kids double (including accommodation tax that kids normally don't have to pay according the law) and didn't get a receipt. The stuff was really friendly and nice (especially Mrs and her son Goran), but Mister the owner who manages their finances was really unpleasant.
