Charged twice for rooms cant get money backWe stayed here on 4/6/10 after 11 hours driving we got told there computers crashed so we got moved to St Jean de braye 10 miles away. So when we arrived there I then paid for 3 rooms plus breakfast. I said I had paid already for two of the rooms but they insisted that only reservation was made and no payments taken. So I paid for all three. Since being home I have checked my credit card bill and I had already paid for two of the rooms. I am struggling to contact them now to get a refund so a cheap budget hotel has now cost be a fortune. So beware this does not happen to you! If anybody knows how you can contact them pls advise.

It's not for familyWe got in the hotel in Wednesday night around 9pm. The only entrance to the hotel is from the parking lot that is in a dark road. After 8pm or something the gate is closed, so you need to park your car on the street and walk up to the reception and phone up someone else to come to the reception. The bloke didn't take long to show up, but he wasn't wearing any ID to inform he a member of staff. Then you're given a paper with a numerical code that is you "key", you enter the code code on the keypad by the room door to get into the room. The same code is used to open the gate to park the car. When I booked the hotel I didn't get the meaning of spacious bath area as a sharing toilet... and on top of that 95% of guests were builders... of course I couldn't get any clean bathroom to take a shower at that time, as they are cleaned only late at night. The atmosphere of being in a building site is complete when all the hosts leave the window wide open while changing after taking a shower, I don't think is nice experience to walk with your wife in a parking lot and look at hotel your staying and see a bunch of naked blokes. On the Friday night the builders were gone and hotel was quite empty, even the price dropped 5 euros for the weekend. So, unless you're looking for a hotel that your builders staff will feel at home I'd say to avoid this hotel. There is no lift and make sure you book a non smoker room, be aware that the rooms are not en-suit
