  Magnífico hotel.

  Hemos estado una semana en este magnífico hotel, este mes de septiembre, quedamos encantados, limpieza impoluta, comida muy buena y variada, estupenda repostería, servicio discreto y muy eficaz, el maitre impecable de la mañana a la noche, camareras muy buenas,recepción encantadores, del hotel a la playa pasando por una buena piscina unos 20 metros, la dueña impecable. Volveremos con seguridad , se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo, sólo un pero la ducha algo incómoda dentro de una confortable habitación. Gracias a todo el personal.   No way is this 4 star

  This best things about this hotel were the breakfasts,side balcony and the rooms beinge clean and spotless.However,the beds were rock hard the pillows not much better and there were numerous niggles with the appliances. The worst thing of all was the noise,coming in various directions from the town centre,beach club and the hotel next to ours where they seemed to be constantly throwing bottles into a bin. All this combined with the bed situation made a good nights sleep almost impossible.How this has a rating of 4.5 for sleep quality and 5 star rating from TUI is a mystery,at best overall it is a 3 star

  Fabulous stay in the Excelsior, Jesolo

  Having had many holidays in Jesolo this was our first visit to the hotel Excelsior and without question this is by far the best hotel in this resort that we have stayed in. I cannot fault the location, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and above all the quality of the at both breakfast but especially our evening dinner. Book half board you wont regret it! Cannot wait to return soon, thank you to all the staff that made this such a special holiday! Room 308 great for catching late afternoon sun on the balcony.   Old and overpriced, NOT a 4 start hotel

  The room felt like it had been built 30 years ago on a tight budget and no major renovation was considered ever since, just minimum maintenance. When we checked in, we had ants in the bathroom; when it started to rain, the water started to come into the room, so the staff had to stuff towels under the balcony door to stop it. Also, we had a connecting door between our room and someone else's so we could perfectly hear snoring and "other sounds" in the night (if you know what I mean). The whole place is very tired, badly needs a refit and super overpriced. Internet photos didn't promise an amazing place but the reality was much worse. On a positive note, the dinners were very good, the staff were friendly and the pool area is nice. Still, 4 stars? Seriously? They must be dreaming in color. I completely share one of recent reviewer's surprise at where a high visitor rating could come from. I am sure, for this price you can find something way better.

  2019 Honeymoon Destination

  This hotel had been recently renovated when I went there with my new wife for our honeymoon in July 2019, so please feel free to disregard reviews written before this time. The hotel is in an old style, but the staff were absolutely first-class. They made you feel welcome without intruding on your space. The hotel has private pools and a beach, both of which were ideal. You aren't allowed to slouch in and out of your room in your swimming costume, which was a plus too; they have high standards here! The menu was posted up ever day, and every meal we had was delicious, with a great variety of haute cuisine meals. It's not a real review unless there's a criticism, so I'll say that the games room facilities were in need of an upgrade! But that's the only thing I could fault; this is an excellent hotel, and it made for a perfect honeymoon. It's easy to get in and out of Venice from here, but you'd pay far more to stay in this kind of hotel in Venice; the Hotel Excelsior really is the best of both worlds, and comes thoroughly recommended! Would love to go back...
