  Great location!

  If you want to be in the middle of the action in Merano then this is the place to stay. Beautiful rooms from our room in every direction. Elegant breakfast room -- with lots of breakfast choices. And the very best thing is a young lady at the desk named Jasmin!

  Hardly slept. Can we please have a sheet?

  The hotel provides a down comforter and no top sheet. Your choice is overheat under the comforter or go completely without and freeze. After several sleepless hours for both my wife and me, our solution was to blast the air conditioning to chill the room and we made it through until morning under the comforter. This hardly seems like the best solution. Could we just please have have a top sheet? How much can that cost?

  Excellent hotel to stay for a few days!!

  Very clean, conveniently located in the dead center of the gorgeous Merano, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast suggestions, excellent amenities. Outside lounge and "cafe" is also a big +. Price = service!! Highly recommended!

  Just fine

  This is a nice hotel which is centrally located. The rooms and basic and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but as someone has already mentioned, you get a down comforter and no bedsheet. Very hard to get used to and hot! We were underwhelmed by this hotel. The service was not noticeably good or friendly. The rooms are plain and there are no extras - just soap in the shower. The breakfast area is nice and there is certainly enough to eat. But, our coffee was cold on both days and we had to ask for it to be replaced and it was tough to get the attention of the staff to order eggs. I suppose this is a fine hotel for the price, but I would spend more more next time to stay somewhere where I felt more pampered.

  Two nights in Merano, in a very good hotelg

  Hotel Europa Splendid is located very close to the city center, just at the beginning of the pedestrian area in Merano. They have a sort-time parking space just in front of the hotel for loading/unloading luggage, and they have convention at reduced prices with the parking at the Thermal Station, and it's just a few minutes walk from the parking to the hotel. My room was very good - not very big, but with excellent furniture, and a private balcony with a good view on the city and the Alps. The room was enough insulated from outside noise, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very good, too. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with several choices available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very good experience!
