  Lovely penthouse apartments with private balcony

  We stayed for two nights. When we arrived, it took us 10 minutes to find anyone as the reception and bar were unattended. Then it took the guy we found 10 minutes and three phone calls to figure out whether a room was available. Eventually we agreed on e40 for a room under the roof with a private balcony. Not sure if we could have negotiated all that without Albanian and a lot of patience!!! Lovely double room, clean sheets, towels etc. the shower was typical Albanian with no shower curtain... But the beautiful view from our private balcony made it worthwhile :)

  Lovely place.

  We ended up in this hotel by chance as we had no booking, owner was friendly and the waiter there was super nice. Rate as great,very good value and the room was on the top floor with a balcony with a super view. Its quiet well located and down from it is a beach the next hotel where is a super good small restaurant run by Alessandro and his wife. The owner of this hotel was nice and the rate included breakfast & free wifi . the wifi on top floor was sometimes slow. Great view!

  The best in Saranda

  This may not be the biggest,fanciest hotel in Saranda, however it is the best run, cleanest and quietest hotel in the city. The owner Erdion is friendly and really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. I have stayed here 10 times since 2006 and am never disappointed. It is walking distance to the boardwalk, the beach, restaurants etc. and is tucked away in a nice, quiet area. Views are great, breakfast is good, staff are friendly and rooms are spotless. Honestly the best in Saranda!

  Well impressed with this restaurant

  Visited Albania for the day and this restaurant was used for drinks break and lunch. Lovely views over the bay. You could pay in euros for your drinks. The service was good and the buffet meal was really nice. The staff were excellent and we were well impressed with our first trip to Albania. My OH collects beer glasses and he came away with one, good quality. He did pay for the glass but the waiter wasn't happy about accepting the offer. Very nice people. Although we didn't go inside the hotel from the outside it looked very inviting.

  Value for money

  Clean & overlooking the sea rooms, but not too big. Hotel staff made the bed (really comfortable) and replace towells everyday. TV with USB, yea! :) Breakfasts just ok. Same food everyday, but I'm not choosy. Overall Erdano offers good value for money - 8/10.
