  Una agradable sorpresa.

  Fue una inesperada sorpresa. Hotel que parece muy nuevo o recientemente remodelado. Habitación muy amplia y cómoda, nos alojábamos 3 adultos y las 3 camas eran amplias y cómodas. El cuarto de baño también era muy amplio y nuevo, con ducha de chorros que era una gozaba ducharse. El entorno de montaña es muy bonito. Nos alojamos para visitar al día siguiente Bastogne (muy cercano) y su museo sobre la Segunda Gerra Mundial. Cenamos además en el hotel y el restaurante también merece una muy buena nota. Además el parking es gratuito al aire libre a la puerta del hotel. Lo menos destacable fue el desayuno que resultó bastante pobre.

  Modern but basic hotel

  The first impression of this hotel, of cigarette smoke pervading the hotel lobby as it drifts in from the smokers on the balcony, was the first of a number of problems that spoiled our stay at this hotel. This is a shame as the staff are friendly, the location with views of a lake below, and the general design very attractive. However, the poor attention to detail and failure to get things right is annoying. One of the lights in our room was hanging out of its socket and couldn't be turned off or on, the window blind had fallen off and left lying on the windowsill, we were given two shower towels for 4 guests. The rooms are adequate but very basic - don't expect anything other than the bare necessities.

  Basic lack of attention to cleaning

  This was our final hotel in out trip through Europe and were very disappointed with the level of cleaning. When booking, the location was perfect for what we wanted and the view over the lake and valley was very pleasant...but the room we had definately needed a good, deep clean. Cobwebs, soap scum on shower shelves, broken glass still in the corner of the bathroom under the sink area and clean glasses not given every day. It goes down to bad house-keeping, squashed flies not cleaned off a wall in the breakfast area, cups, wine and beer glasses, menus and table covers not cleared up of an evening left outside to be covered in dew. It was obvious that this is a chain-run hotel without the concern of a family-run business. It made do for us but will not be recommending it to anyone.

  Lovely position but problems with facilities

  Lovely position beside the lake, but had some problems. Although a 'bar' is advertised it is only open when the restaurant is open. Otherwise it's just cold drinks from the fridge by the Reception desk. Not good in the cold, wet weather when we were there. Floor of the balcony was dangerously slippery when wet. Restaurant disappointing - did not have the full range of dishes advertised. Rubbish bin in breakfast area had not been emptied for at least 2 days and had flies multiplying within it.

  Ok hotel but do not recommend the restaurant

  Good and clean hotel at nice location with excellent view of the lake. Excellent service during reservation and during check in. What is holding me from a higher rating is the speed of service and quality of food in the restaurant. We just waited to long on our food and quality of the dishes we ordered was from ok to poor. If you have a car it is a good hotel to stay but drive to the center where you have some nice restaurants.
