  Could have been fantastic, but Finnish sauna made us think differently. Not relaxed place

  Great hotel, huge buidling. Many facilities, Sauna is nude, so for those who want to wear something in the sauna they have a small finnish sauna. The other sauna is massive and all go in nude. During our day we had to ask to switch the finnish sauna on, all facilities are working except this small sauna in the family section. The following day we asked agian to switch it on but we were told it was too Dangerous for small children....We raised complaint ( no complaint book present) and one of the family members came to apologise but without switch it on. She said it took too long to get it started. After we used the swimming pool, we had a look and it was working ... Food is good, especially breakfast. Dinner is arranged you have to choice out of 3 options, there is no a la carte.... Rooms are ok, not as modern as the lounge, so we think they will modernize once. Beds are single size and the temperature in the room is very high, you cannot lower the temperature, only by opening all Windows and balcony door. Wellnes is very complete. All very new. Family is walking around and greets you every time. For us it felt a bit fake hospitality.

  Outstanding mountain resort. Excellent!

  Located in the middle of the Alpes, just 80 kilometres south of Salzburg, the resort is a real hideaway. You will be totally flabbergasted when you enter the lobby. Very stylish and everything you expect from a luxurious mountain resort. It exists out of two buildings, an old part and a new part. The new part is more expensive but much nicer than the old part. The rooms furnished beautifully and the bathrooms are a real wellness highlight. The rooms have a balcony with an amazing view. You won't hear a sound from the surroundings and the beds are very comfortable. Fast Wifi is available everywhere. We booked half board which I can recommend to everyone. The breakfast is outstanding as well as the diner. Endless choices for every taste. You can enjoy excellent wines from local producers. The wellness area is excellent as well. Enough space and everything you need. To summarize, an excellent resort for summer and winter stays in the mountains. Good food, outstanding staff and customer services.

  Really good summer experience!

  Though clearly built for winter (never saw such a luxurious ski depot) we really enjoyed our stay in late summer. Nice hotel, nice pools, nice rooms, great people. Even under Corona conditions a very good experience. Hope to come back during winter.

  Summer Getaway

  Das Edelweiss is an absolutely wonderful resort, there is no need to go anywhere else to eat or drink because the resort has it all and the rooms were some of the cleanest I have seen in a resort, down to every Corner was spotless clean and fresh, the assigned tables was the best ever, no need to wonder if or when a table would be available because your table is always available and they are even sectioned off by family and adults only, the bed is Comfortable and the toilet in the junior sweet melisse deluxe room is space age advanced a must experience, the mountains are amazing and there is so much to do for children and adults. Oh and the food was a burst of flavor that takes you on a different journey every day.

  An absolute exquisite hotel on a convenient location

  It was an absolutely exquisite hotel, a convenient location close to all sports centers (ski, hiking & biking) and shops. The hotel facilities and rooms are of excellent quality; your half board service is nice with good quality food. The wine options however during the half board are of mediocre to low quality. I am sure Austria has better wines. An upgrade of the wine quality would be very recommendable and make it even better. The Spa facilities are of great quality as well and superbly located. Top experience. Overall good experience, good location and would certainly return back.
