  Single room for one night

  I stayed here for only one night and had to book quite late, almost all rooms in town was occupied. Even so, I was able to get a single room with a toilet at the Duxiana. There was no door to the toilet, quite strange, but I didn´t ask why. There was no shower, this I knew from my booking, but it was ok since I had other possibilities to get a shower in the morning. The staff was very helpful and nice. They offered coffee/tea and something sweet and fruits in the afternoon for free. Breakfast was really good and the location is great, just a few minutes walk from the central station. I had a good night sleep and was satisfied with my stay.

  Singel room one night

  I stayed one night in a single room, The room was ok. The hotel is good located, its near the central station and centrum.The breakfast was good, the personal was kind and friendly, I can recommend this hotel

  Good breakfast

  The rooms were fine, the location good, and the breakfast very good. It was Better than I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies later in the day.

  Angry Anna

  I booked my room for me and my baby some time ago.I come faster like 2h before my check-in time.Becouse i needed to breastfeed and put to sleep my child.So i asked a personal at check-in board (Anna) if i can pay extra so i can check in now or if i can stay in lobby whit tea till my room is ready.I got very angry face and answer,that its not possible in this hotel and that i have to go out now from hotel since is not my check-in time..i can go to caffe shop and wait there.I was so angry that i have payed money and have asked for help and answer i got so rude. We got in arguments and she was shouting to me to leave a hotel.I dont know what have happened whit Anna that day,but i never got a apologise. I got money back..Dont recomend at all this place,since they are not working for quality ..Worst experience whit my baby.i never slept there and will not. If u stay just might your business,dont ask nothing to personal and hysterical woman Anna

  I envisioned Duxiana being a quality brand

  It's sad to see a quality brand's reputation being downgraded by its secondary business. This is the case for Duxiana, the excellent bed maker's venture into hotels is filled with doubts of synergies, which I got to experience first hand. I stayed at this hotel due to business purposes. During the check-in, there was a private event held in the the (tiny) dinner area in conjunction with the reception - having to constantly move around my bags while people tried to pass by was not the start of, what I envisioned, would be a calm evening after a long days work. Next, I had to park my car, which they charge you more for compared to street parking. The parking space provided by the hotel has this extremely long and narrow entrance, so if you have a lengthened wheelbase car or SUV, forget about parking here. Next: the rooms. The rooms don't use key cards, but opts for a physical key. When entering the room (mine was a double room), you'll strangely find the shower cramped into the left (where there probably has been an old closet). Really, really strange. The bathroom is small and not up to date (and they won't provide you with neither body lotion nor conditioner, but only a two-in-one hand wash/body wash). Also strange is that the "place your towels on the floor"-sign didn't have the Duxiana corporate logo in it, maybe it was the last hotel's name? Nevertheless, the rooms were decently clean and the beds are obviously very comfy and I slept like a baby. The next morning, I had breakfast down in the dining room. OK assortment, but I was a bit disappointed when they didn't have porridge. All in all, and sub-par experience, and they certainly have a lot to learn from their big brother in Malmö.
