  Horribly disappointing

  We called to cancel the first night of our three night reservation, reporting that we were ill and having trouble walking. We were told that we would be charged fully for that night. We were NEVER told about the sizable walk to the hotel and no parking nearby. When we arrived to find the walk and no parking, we were horribly disappointed not just the situation, but the lack of notice when I called. The area around the hotel is loud and filled with cigarette smoke.

  gorgeous views

  We had a room with the Palais view - very charming, especially when illuminated in the evening. The hotel has a very cantral location, in the historic centre of the town, but depsite that fact is really quite inside. The room was quite small, but had tea and coffee facilitie, which was very comfortable. The man who welcomed us at the reception - super nice and helpful.

  Excellent

  Humble hotel, but top in customer service. Weve been traveling to Europe and this hotel has the most courteous staffs and very accommodating dating. We will definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality!

  Excellent location & polite staff

  + Excellent location in the middle of the town. + Polite and welcoming staff + Comfortable beds. - Weak WiFi signal (many problems with the connetion) - Noisy for most of the days and at nights (as it is on the main road)

  Great location and staff however disappointingly noisy

  My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. The reception staff were lovely and took our bags for us as we arrived too early to check in. The bed was comfy and it was smack bang in the centre of the old town beside the lake and all the tourist hustle and bustle. The room was nice and tidy when we arrived and the shower was powerful however we noticed a lot of staining on the carpets and the tiles could do with a real regrout. The main downside unfortunately was that there was a lot of noise throughout the night. Starting with people outside on the street in the early hours of the morning and then the noise was continued by the staff before and after 9am, which distrupted our wish for a lie in. I do not think that neither doors nor windows are adequately soundproofed.
