    Avoid like the plague!

I had to make an emergency visit to Monaco during the Formula 1 weekend and only the only place locally with rooms was this place. My secretary booked this through bookings.com. Once booked we received instructions how to gain entry after hours as this was not attended at nights. I arrived and promptly was disappointed as having gained access I could not get entry into my designated room, which we were told via email would be left open with the key inside. I called the number on the outside of the sign board to be answered by a grumpy person who informed me they had changed my room! This was now 0130hrs! Once in the 'room'/cupboard I was revolted at the condition. This so called room was dirty sticky floor and nasty smelling. The bedding was marked and seems to have had blood stains on it. The bed extended into the balcony which was turned into a shower and toilet! Disgusting and never again.

    Very Poor

This was the nearest budget? hotel we could find to Monaco. Cost us 70 Euros for the night and it is nowhere near the quality of even the most basic formula 1 hotel and over twice the price. Our room was an odd shaped box with a lumpy bed, no air conditioning or TV. the bathroom is falling apart with mould in the shower, broken shower fixings, dripping taps and a loose toilet. The bathroom shelf is held? to the wall with the aid of cardboard and toilet paper. On the plus side the hotel is quiet and the Wi-Fi works. This is the most expensive hotel on our itinery and let us hope it is the worst.

    budget hotel with excellent location

I stayed in family room with en suite bathroom for one night. Beds and bathroom were clean but very, very basic. The hotel is right in the center. So for budget I believe this is one of best options. Brekfast was standard with croissants and very reasonably priced.

    Best welcome ever

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. When I arrived, Jessica was realy friendly. She and her husband Jerome offert me a cup of tea and had some small talk with me. I felt welcome immidiatly. Jessica even said she was gonna make some food for me and she did! Thanks again! I stayed in a single room. The room was okay and clean. Had everything I need. Tip for Jessica & Jerome: change the carpet in the halls. Overall I had a really good stay in a excellent location. Would recommend and visit again! Thank you Jessica & Jerome!

A frightening, worst ever hotel experience.

My wife and I arrived in the afternoon of 14th May 2018 and paid cash for a 4 night stay. We thought the property was very run down and not clean. The first floor room allocated to us was tiny with a small window overlooking a tiled roof. We decided not to stay, expecting to forgo the cost of one night however the lady proprietor stubbornly refused to refund any money and kept hold of our receipt. We were understandably insistent on getting the 3 nights refund we were entitled to. The lady proprietor lost her temper and threw our bags onto the street and then assaulted me (we are both in our 60s). It got worse. She then proceeded to follow us as we walked to the nearby accommodation we had arranged. Her behaviour was frightening so we resorted to stopping a police car and reporting the incident. (If you want to verify this you can contact the national police office Menton on 0493286600 or I shall be happy to provide more details). Despite the woman inventing all sorts of malicious accusations against us, the police were very helpful and even escorted her back to the Hotel du Musee to retrieve our receipt. The site we made our booking with were extremely helpful and did a brilliant job in eventually obtaining the refund we were entitled to. Lessons learned. 1) If you are paying cash, ask to look at the room before you pay. 2) Avoid the Hotel du Musee.
