  Excelente hotel a 2 pasos del palacio

  El hotel está super bien situado literalmente al lado del Palacio de Versailles. Ambiente super familiar justo lo que nos gusta. Las camas super cómodas. Esta en una calle muy calma y tiene un jardín interior donde poder tomar un café y ler un libro después de un día de mucho caminar. El café y el te están disponibles de forma gratis en la sala de estar. Como la habitación familiar no estaba disponible nos han ofrecido una grande y una más pequeña por el mismo precio. Superficie espaciosa y con una grande tele. También muy simpático el te y café gratis en la habitación. Totalmente recomendable.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN THE " HOTEL DES PAUMES "

  First of all , there was no air conditionner ! It was extremely hot ( heat wave ) . Secondly , there was carpet in my room which provoked allergies because of mites ! Thirdly , the shades wouldn't block the light from the outside . Consequently : I woke up too early in the morning ! In conclusion , I won't recommend this hotel to anybody !

  Dont expect a welcome.

  Agree with earlier comments , Rooms in the roof unbearably hot, even with the fan provided. Rooms very compact but well maintained. Staff non existent, if you want to speak to somebody you will have to go up the road to the sister hotel. Breakfast is far better and cheaper in one fo the beautiful eateries 100 m walk away, plenty of choice. We had to leave early to catch the ferry, as usual no staff anywhere to be seen, only to receive a snot o gram email demanding we pay local taxes due. Tried to point out that if any staff were present this would have been much easier to do before departing. Suggest tying else there are plenty of choices within walking distance. The palace was amazing. No point pre buying tickets the queue to get in was shorter if you purchased on the door.

  Great location and really comfortable stay

  My adult son and I stayed here on 21 December 2019 for the comfort of getting to the gardens of the palace early. It was the best decision ever. The hotel is ideally located and very close to the Palace and restaurants. Although there was no one on arrival we knew whom to contact and were very quickly greeted and shown to our rooms. As the hotel had low occupancy because of the ongoing transport strikes, we were given 2 adjoining rooms which were big and comfortable. We were not interested in breakfast which is a good thing as it didn't look appealing. Grabbing coffee and a croissant from the local places en route to the palace is definitely the way to go. The communication with the hotel beforehand was excellent and very friendly. We regret not staying for 2 nights as we would have liked to explore the town as well.

  Perfect stay

  This place is perfectly located right next to the palace and the Salle de jeu de Paume. Maybe even more importantly, it is also right next to the bustling Rue du Sartory, where you have lots of nice bars and restaurants for everybodys taste. The room we stayed in was small, but comfortable and clean, with a very good bed. Although there is no AC, they provide a big fan to keep it cool at night. When a mistake was made (something with keycards for the wrong room), the guy we talked to was very helpful and we received heartfelt apologies over the phone afterwards. That was much appreciated! Would recommend this place to everybody when visiting Versailles!
