  Beautiful Hotel

  What a wonderful few days we had staying here. The hotel is stunning and the gardens are lovely. Yes it is a bit out of the way and perhaps a hire car is necessary really to have some independence but the shuttles are great too. We had a lodge overlooking the nursery which was fab. The food is of a very high standard. The menu is fixed both for lunch and dinner so the daily specials at dinner are very welcome for a greater selection. Breakfasts were very good. So much to choose from. All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Claudia and co at breakfast and all the staff at dinner. Phillipo was so helpful with the wine choices and we recommend the Etna Rosso from their own vineyard. The reception staff are very helpful too. We highly recommend the half day trip up Mt Etna with Paulo booked through reception. Wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy the surroundings and the fabulous pool. Thank you.

  A perfect place to unwind

  On holiday with my partner . Read previous reviews so came expecting a great place to stay. Our expectations were exceeded . The setting, the rooms and the staff are all excellent . A perfect place for a relaxing getaway. You can walk from the hotel to a couple of nearby villages , but don't expect crowds of people / tourists. Trips can be arranged and the hotel has a free shuttle service. The restaurant is excellent again with friendly attentive staff. Highly recommended but not for lovers of nightlife and crowds

  Fantastic hotel!

  If you are looking for quiet, relaxing holiday in beautiful Sicily you wont find a better hotel to stay at! Staff is incredibly friendly and treat everyone like family members. The owners son speaks English and was always keen to help. You must have a car though as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere , which is exactly what I was looking for. The closest beach is 10 minutes walk, however there are no sunbeds or bar there. We were driving to Aloha beach every morning (7 minutes by car). I will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends!

  Fabulous few days

  Stayed 3 nights in this wonderful family run small hotel. Highlights were the super friendly sons, delicious meals cooked to accommodate one vegetarian & one carnivore, amazing Sicilian wines, modern well equipped rooms, beautiful pool and 2 min drive / 10 min walk from the beach. My husband took advantage of 2 windy days to go kiteboarding. I use a cane for short distances & a wheelchair to get around... the hotel is totally accessible & the son who checked us in showed multiple rooms so that Id be able to have the largest shower to put a bench (that I bring on holidays). Definitely recommend this great place in Sciacca!!

  Very Disappointing

  We booked this hotel on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews only to find that the hotel had accepted the booking but had basically closed for the season. We were the only people to be there and it is in the middle of nowhere! Our suspicions of a problem started when they tried to steer us away from our the room we had booked which had a sea view. We insisted on the right room and we could immediately see why they had tried to give us another. The distant view of the sea meant one also got a splendid view of the swimming pool! The gorgeous pictures of the pool which you can see on various booking sites were what tempted us the most. We stayed at 4 other places in Sicily on our tour in late September and the first week of October 2018. All had lovely pools and all were in use. However, not this one. It had plainly not been in use for some weeks. And we had to avoid the cat poo that had been carefully deposited around the external pathways of the hotel and just left there. We had a mediocre meal which cost much more that it should have and decided to leave after one night although we had booked on Hotels.com and paid for for two nights. Hotels. com were completely useless when we tried to get our money back for the second night. Several exchanges of emails produced nothing but promises to get back in due course, which never happened. They claimed they had not heard from the hotel. Any decent establishment would have been happy to refund the payment but not this one. In fact they should have given us a part refund on the first night's payment. Please have a look at some of my other hotel reviews. You will find I generally write in favourable and sometimes glowing terms. My advice regarding this hotel is 'Don't risk it!'
