  Leímos muy malas opiniones del hotel pero nos sorprendió gratamente. Estuvimos muy a gusto, sin ningún lujo pero es correcto. Nos trataron muy, muy bien. Sólo dos reproches, el café y la cortina de la ducha

  Central Skopelos Town.

  Centrally located. We had a small veranda with a view. Good 3 star. Shower a bit dated. Breakfast was ok and as expected. This hotel needs probably a bit updating, but a nice Greek family hotel. Can recommend.

  Traditional hotel in perfect location

  This is a large hotel but is still traditional and family run. The room we had was small but comfortable with the exception of the shower. This was a hand held shower with a curtain around it. The reception staff were young but spoke good English and were very helpful. The pool was deep with no play area for children. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was ok. Could have been improved by cooking fresh eggs to order as the chef was obviously in the kitchen. The hotel was perfectly situated -a short 3 min walk to the port and all the shops and tavernas but also very close to the ring road if you hired a car.

  Never again because of owners

  Quite rustic hotel with good location. Building has many places to sit and relax but its old and needs renovation especially bathrooms (but always well cleaned by lovely maid). Receptionists, barmans, waiters are so nice and helpful. Amazing people. And good words ends here. Food is bad. Almost everyday the same and boring. Im not saying that chef cant cook because sometimes food tasted good but I suppose that hotel owner doesnt allow to buy good products for meals. There is so many delicious fruits and vegetables at the markets. Hotel hasnt got many guests and the end of the season is not an answer. It could be better for this place to make only tasty breakfast and for the rest of meals guests will go to the taverns (like many of us did). And now the worse. I understand that not everybody likes animals. BUT I DO NOT TOLERATE AGRESSION AGAINST THEM. Skinny and starving cats comes to the dining room but they werent disturbing at all. One of very old women (owner or owners family) saw one and KICK THE CAT BY FOOT to chase him away. There is another way to do that if she doesnt want cats here. They were so scared and running away if you just moved your hand in the air. The clap is enough to make them run. I am totally DISGUSTED about that AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR. Many hotels has appointed areas to give homeless animals water and petfood and guests can give them food too. Animals are happy and hotel has no problem with cats walking inside begging. I will never ever came back to this place just because of what happend. Lack of heart is the worst...

  Wonderful stay

  We were actually booked into another hotel on Skopelos, but when we landed in Skiathos our rep advised us of the change. Obviously with everything going on re Covid this year it was not a great surprise. And having booked our holiday back in February felt lucky we had still got a holiday to go on. We have had the most amazing stay at the Dionyssos, it is a tradionally furnished hotel on the inside and is spotless. The pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds around the pool and still room to walk safely around it. A great size for a good swim as well. The pool bar is good and there is also separate seating for it if you want it. All the staff have been brilliant and so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely choose this hotel next time. It is a 5 minute stroll down to the bars, restaurants, shops and waterfront.
