  Great stay, wonderful staff!

  The woman at the front was absolutely delightful and so so helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Dionysus without reservation! Theres an adjacent rocky beach great for swimming and another one (clothing optional) about a ten minute hike away. I recommend renting bicycles in town to get around the island, which is quite manageably sized and not too touristy. A wonderful, budget conscious option for any traveler!

  A Outstanding stay at Hotel Dionysos

  What can i say, WOW WOW, i have had the best two week stay at this fantistic hotel ,the staff who work there are outstanding, the young lady at the desk is outstanding, nothing was to much for her, she went out of her way, the lovely lady who cleaned our room is such a gem , the young man who picked us up and returned us the port , what a gentleman , so this is my third time to stay on Agristri , i can not wait for 2020 i would give this hotel 11 out of 10 , i would aslo like to say we eat at your sister hotel and again outstanding in all ways, please can i thank you all for making my sister and myself a holiday that we can talk about for years,

  Just Superb

  Ok so its a bit of a trek up the hill with you bag..and the stairs nearly finished me off ...but I was a lot fitter by the time I left. But the minute you arrive you are just at home. Maria at reception makes you feel so very welcome and makes sure you have everything you need. Treat yourself to a superior room and you will find yourself up early every morning to watch the sunrise over Aegina, and back on your balcony whenever you can because of those views... Its a view I will never forget . The rooms are kept spotless with regular changes of linen and towels. The beds are on the firm side and squeak a little ...but with the sound of the sea to lull you to sleep, and the tantalising sea breeze you probably wont notice! The bathrooms are not super modern but are very clean, functional and do what they are designed for. The kitchenette is not equipped for meals of any substance, but for breakfast watching the sun rise, tea in the afternoon watching the ferries coming and going, and a cold beer or a nightcap, the fridge comes in handy. Air con functional and quiet ! Ive stayed in some really top notch hotels, but somehow I felt more at home here than in somewhere Id paid 10 times the amount for. Excellent value, brilliant location, superb staff, great accommodation

  Long weekend away from Athens - a gem

  I came with a friend in June for the very first time to the island (even though I live in Athens since 2000). People have told me how nice the place is.....I was not disappointed at all! Dionysos was recommended by a very good friend here in Athens and it was soooo great that I came back in September for my birthday! Maria, Receptionist, was probably a big reason for that. So kind, calm and informative...helpful and ALWAYS there....was wondering when she sleeps as she never looked tired. Just a special person! The location is TOP, close to the port and yet very quiet with a seaview and access to the sea by a beautiful platform.....also, a couple of unorganized beaches are in within walking distance. In addition, one of the best restaurants on the island - 5 minute walk away! Just perfect!

  Delightful Dionysos!

  I've just returned from a 13 might stay at Hotel Dionysos and it was perfect for us. We had requested a top floor room away from the hotel in front and that is what we got, thank you! The view from room 16 is stunning, across the sea and over to Aegina, and we enjoyed watching the ferries and fishing boats come and go. The room was spotlessly clean and the cleaners did a great job servicing the room. The lady at reception was very kind and helped us have the most wonderful holiday. I don't think the location of the hotel could be bettered and Agistri was a delight. We enjoyed walking all the trails in the pine forests, and most days did not see another soul up there, the views to neighbouring islands were stunning. We feel so lucky to have been able to go on holiday this year and Agistri and the Hotel Dionysos made it the perfect escape. Thank you!
