  Perfecto Hotel para ski safari

  Nos alojamos 20 personas (11 adultos y 9 niños) en este renovado hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas y con un buen sistema de calefacción. Lo que mas nos gustó del hotel fue el desayuno muy variado y surtido y con la posibilidad de pedir platos con huevo (tortillas, huevos revueltos, Benedict, etc..) sobre la marcha. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. El hotel se situa en Saalfelden , en ej mismo centro y muy bien situado para ir a esquiarr a Saalbach, Zell am See o Maria Alm. En el mismo edifico del hotel hay un bar y restaurante con mucho ambiente. Al restaurante nos fue imposible acceder puesto que tenían toda la semana reservada. Relación calidad precio muy buena.

  Great choice of hotel in a charming town

  We spent the second half of our Austrian Christmas at the Hindenburg and were delighted with our choice of both hotel and town. Whilst our room didn't have character to match the history of the building or the wonderful vaulted reception, it was spacious and had been decorated with a pleasant retro vibe. The breakfast buffet opened at a very convenient 7am and offered the best array of choices that could be conceived of, including fantastic cheeses and eggs, pancakes and porridge to order. The Hindenburg doesnt have the means to cook dinner in-house but it offers a great alternative whereby a different buffet is brought in every evening. The menu is available at breakfast and booking can be made up to 11am. Serving staff are brought in and if you are lucky, there is a musical turn. The staff make a considerable effort and though vegetarians aren't always offered a fish main course, care is clearly taken to make the menus varied and for there to be something for everyone. Though there is not adjacent free parking, there are 2 paid for parking options which are very nearby and convenient. The hotel is located at the very heart of Saafelden and so it is impossible to be further than 10 minutes from any restaurant, supermarket etc in the vicinity. Hotel Hindenburg is a great choice which even offers some spa treatments!

  Pre season ski area reconnaissance

  Eventually stayed three nights. Hotel excellent, staff great. As our visit was just before the commencement of the ski season , pricing was very reasonable. Location right in the heart of old Saalfelden with bars and restaurants a stones throw away. Also only ten minutes from Maria Alm and Leogang ski centres ,in either direction. Really enjoyable stay in a lovely renvated hotel, beautifully furnished and a great atmosphere with bar and restaurant attached. Bit of a nuisance having to park in public car park. Overall, thoroughly recommend this hotel for reasonably priced luxury and fantastic location with access to some of the most beautiful ski regions in the Alps especially with the Hochkönig mountain looming over you.

  What a nice place to stay

  This hotel is really nice! The checkin was smooth and easy. The rooms are really big and very clean and cozy. The hotel has wonderful deco. The staff is amazing and very helpful. No questions or problems remain unsolved. We just felt very welcome. It was the best way to spend a few days in the Alps! The breakfast was great. A huge variety of local and international food! PERFECT

  Great vacation experience

  Very nice Boutique Hotel, in the center. The Dinner was excellent (we tried the BBQ hut) and the Merlot wine was amazing. It was a quite evening in the restaurant but we like that. Breakfast is outstanding, lots of variety and it keeps your stomach full for the day. Earlier my husband and I had some massages booked which we both enjoyed a lot ! Monika is an excellent Masseur, who really goes into your muscles, and helps you release tensions.
