  Great downtown gem!

  Stayed at Hotel Diamond when in Chico for a friends celebration of life and Hotel Diamond was a delight. Easy access to everything I wanted to do when in town, convenient and close parking, superb service and beautiful rooms. I have zero complaints and would stay again in a heart beat!

  Our stay was ok

  If we would have had a better maid then our rating would have been higher. Our maid didn't leave new anything in our room. Second day our bed was not made very well. The staff downstairs was good. They were helpful and nice. The location is nice and they have parking. A little problem with the homeless around there.

  Great location and History

  Always loved the convenience of staying downtown. It has been over 10 years since I stayed last. It has shown its wear... I am overly picky sometimes, but a hotel of this price should not have any chips etc in furniture. I will stay again, but maintenance is required to keep the standards they want. And maybe after the addition, they will update the old part of the hotel. Thank you!

  If no stars were an option Id pick that

  The room was HOT on check in. Thermostat was non-responsive. When I mentioned this to the front desk they claimed to have adjusted it. The second day room was still hot, twice I asked the front desk to look into the matter. At 2 am I could bear it no longer, per the on call person it was over 81 in the room. With a parking lot near empty I was told no more rooms were available. The front desk came up at my insisting to verify the unit was now blowing hot air. I was offered no remedy but to sleep with my door open to the hallway and my window open. I was offered no fan, no water. Absolutely the worst night of rest Ive ever had.

  Charming & Clean Hotel in the of Chico

  The Hotel Diamond is a gem. An excellent boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Chico, it is conveniently located, has excellent and warm service, free parking, beautiful and well appointed rooms with high quality amenities and a good sized mini fridge stocked with bottled water, and a very comfortable bed. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was considering its central, downtown location. There are many cute shops and restaurants and a Starbucks is within easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant was closed due to the pandemic, but it is highly rated. I felt safe and comfortable staying alone there as a single woman visiting family and friends in Chico. I look forward to staying at this hotel the next time I travel to Chico.
