    19th Century ambiance

    The Deutscher Hof is located in the heart of Babehausen near the small but stately rail station. I can conjure up visions of 19th century travelers making their way to and from the hotel as a steam whistle announces the arrival and departure of the 2 PM train. The Deutscher Hof staff is as accommodating and polite as any you would expect to find in an era long past. The Frühstück is served in a quiet room with plenty of good food offered to start the day properly.

    Nice hotel, serves good food

    I stayed in a room without window (Due to construction works) but they made it up to me with a free dinner, which was really nice actually (especially the freshly made tomato soup...) Babenhausen is a really nice town too, perfect for a short evening walk through history.
