  A Hotel That Values Their Guests

  The staff at Delle Canne went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests, behind the desk and in the kitchen. When I asked where I could get an Italian/English dictionary, Alessandro drove us into town to the door of a store that sold them. When we needed to take a day trip, Alessandro arranged for a car to take us there with the most pleasant driver. When we wanted to take sandwiches for the trip home, Alessandro drove us to a great store in town where they made them. We asked if they had fried zucchini flowers. The following evening, there they were. Not only as an appetizer but the flowers were in our pasta sauce as well! All the dinners were excellent. The rooms were spotless and maid service excellent. It has been newly and very elegantly renovated.

  Beautiful views and excellent service

  My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Delle Canne for 1 week. I didn't want to leave! The hotel is lovely and modern. It has spectacular views of the sea and a private walkway to the beach. This hotel is also within walking distance to the town of Amantea. However, what I found most impressive was the exceptional service we received. The staff couldn't be more accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Calabria region of Italy.

  a nice stay for a reasonable price

  The hotel offers it's own beach, which is connected by a path about 100 m from the main building. Typical italian breakfast is served a bit too short for our expectations. The hotel has a very nice pool, which we didn't use, but it looks very clean, well-kept, inviting for children. The rooms are not refurbished but ok and clean. Prices are more then fair, staff is attendive.

  Hidden gem!

  Stumbled on hotel Delle canne in Amantea on our way to the Calabria region for a beach holiday. Alessandro was most helpful in getting us our room. The main building is entirely new with large rooms and bathrooms...rare to find. Beautiful pool area and easy access to the hotels private beach on the sea. Only here for a couple nights but would book longer on a return visit. Amantea is a great town as well. Thx to all the friendly hotel staff, very helpful with an English speaking tourist!

  A special place in an authentic Italian beach town

  I stayed at this family hotel for a high-season visit 10+ years ago with my husband and 2 boys when they were young. It was a wonderful experience that we always remembered. I returned last weekthis time with my sisterfor 3 nights, and while it was not buzzing with the same activity during the off season, the fantastic hospitality was just as I remembered. At Hotel delle Canne, Alessandro, Cristina, Pietro, and other family, truly care for their guests. Our room and bathroom was spacious and clean, with a view of the sea, and a balcony. Theres a paved walking path to the beach, and a paved path to town. The hotel has a shuttle and picked us up at the train station, as well as providing rides to and from town of Amantea. We enjoyed 2 dinners (half-board) at the hotel, the beach, walks through town, castle ruins, restaurants on the promenade, and gorgeous sunsets. We did not book online but rather made arrangements by email. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling the coast of Calabria. Ill be back!
