  Great place to stay

  Highly recommends this hotel. Very clean, cozy and great location. Very helpful Staff with lot of extra treats. Great common room with real "at home" feeling. For exempel during the world cup finals the hotel arranged game nights providing with free snacks during the game. Super!

  Still the very best in town

  For me this still the best hotel in this little town. I had been here again a year ago and I saw that they are still the best and did not lose anything. The owner family members are akways on top of every small detail and they happily serve special customers needs too whenever that may arise. They are very friendly and always smiling. Rooms and every part hotel is extremely clean as before.

  Great location, super small hotel

  Beachside location, handy for the town. Good breakfast- choice and quality. Complimentary beverages in lounge. Friendly staff. Excellent location for beach and easy access to good walking area. Good wifi connection.

  HOLLAND - EGMOND AAN ZEE STOP-OVER

  My wife and myself had a stop over in Egmond aan Zee before taking the ferry from Ijmuiden to Newcastle the next day. We stayed in the Hotel de Vassy, which is a family run business. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner actually give up his parking place outside of the Hotel to me as we had a van loaded with goods that needed to be within easy reach. Although it was during top tourist season and last minute booking, we managed to get a very nice room with comfortable bed, large clean bathroom, back of the hotel view but for one night who was complaining. The Hotel was next to the Lighthouse in Egmond and within easy walking distance to all amenities that the town offers. Breakfast was very good and the staff again very helpful. Loved the place and would definitely stay over again this family run business beats the chain hotels hands down.

  I like...

  I like the hotel. Perfect location, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, good coffee. They have hot beverage included over the day, they have bikes (not the latest ones, but good enough, if it is not too windy), they are next to the beach/sea. Only some minor, minor points: My room had a really nice balcony and size during good weather is sufficient. The room could get some refurbishment, but it was clean. Only the balcony railing should get some proper cleaning once in a while. All rooms on the same floor are connected via the balcony. Having the balcony door open, feels not safe. I had my own hair dryer with me. The one in the bathroom is one of these with the flexible tube. Unfortunately the room has walls thin as paper. I could hear the other guests breathing (not talking snoring). I learnt that this not untypical for The Netherlands, therefore... Ok. Baseline: I like the area, the hotel, the people. Thank you for nice days!
