  Conveniently located, next to excellent restaurant

  I dont want to dismiss the negative points brought up by my colleague reviewers, but please mind the following 2 points: First: it is conveniently located close to the Autoroute A31. Second: The restaurant Sabatini (next door, same owner as the hotel) is excellent. We had the three course menu Bon Plaisir for only 18,90 per person. Yes, with the window open you do hear the highway, but not too bad on the backside of the hotel. We had a perfect night rest and the next morning we were quickly en route after a breakfast in the hotel. So, contrary to some who say never again, we may very well come by again when we need a stopover halfway between Netherlands and South France. If not alone for the convenience, than certainly for the very reasonably priced good cuisine in the restaurant that belongs to the hotel. (Or maybe hotel that belongs to the restaurant).

  An OK Autoroute Stopover

  I'd agree with remarks about seeing this as a convenient stopover if travelling a distance. Also to note that the rooms at the back are a must for a quiet night since the front is slap bang by the autoroute. The Sabatini restaurant alongside the hotel is really excellent for the food - less so the service.

  Excellent en route stop or business hotel

  This was our fifth stay here since 2008. It has always been reliable for providing a good night's sleep while we are en route north or south. Originally on the main road (N57), it is now set back so a bit quieter. Rooms at the back are very quiet as they look into undergrowth but those at the front have reasonable views over the surrounding countryside and would only have noise if one opens the windows. The rooms are a good size with all facilities. There is a small bar downstairs but I haven't used it so don't know the hours. On the other side of the entrance is the breakfast room. Whilst the hotel and neighbouring restaurant are connected they operate as seperate businesses so one pays bills seperately. Please note that reception can be closed during the afternoon so check they will be able to check you in when you plan to arrive.
