  Inconsistent

  The rooms are 2* really. Very noisy with thin walls/ceilings- I could hear the water in the pipes all night from bed and you can hear next door very easily. No sockets next to bed to charge phone overnight and the rooms are generally outdated. The restaurant however is pretty good and the staff are quite nice so overall it was a mixed experience

  Clean and cozy

  For a very reasonable price you get a good bed in a clean room. Nothing fancy, but the location is great - right next to the lake of Gerardmer. Basic breakfast and a nice restaurant for dinner. Staff is very friendly, a few speak english but not all. We have stayed in a family room (no 20) several times. That room has two bedrooms and a common bathroom and toilet in between. Very good when traveling with children.

  not so helpfull

  Clean tidy & basic rooms, just what you need. Shame the staff weren't so helpfull. Went for a meal, no shoes on as having aching feet, being in motorbike boots all day, was told there was a dress code, so had to put shoes on. Shame they didn't have a Hygine code as well, as they let a bloke into the restaurant with his dog....which wasn't wearing shoes either. Had the impression, rightly or wrongly, that we were in the way. The food was good, that said, brush up on your French or wait for others to order & point, as they don't do a translated Menu, which for a Tourist trap, I found a bit odd. Staff didn't have much of an idea what shops were in the town, or just didn't care to let us know, as we needed a few things. To sum up, the Hotel was OK, the Staff tho let it down

  COUZY HOTELCLOSE TO THE LAKE

  Couzy hotel close to the lake, simple however the rooms in general are clean. Good breakfast, fresh crunchy baguettes, croissants, fruits, large choises of cakes.. Unfortunately there is an automatic coffe machine however it's real coffee with coffee bones and not coffee powder

  Pretty good place - Good Location

  Older Property, could use a touch of paint, but confortable. Great renovated bathroom. Good shower. Separate toilet. Impeccably dressed staff. · Except for Breakfast no food or drink on premise. You have to go next door to the sister hotel property. Breakfast buffet good but at 9 Euros, a little expensive. Be aware that dogs are welcome, Just heard one a couple of time
