  Casual stop over

  A nice big room, nice towels in the bathroom. Very close to the road and the traffic was rather noisy but the view out onto the street and bridge was nice. Also an advantage on this side of the hotel was the sunlight into the room. Breakfast was not so fresh.

  Nice find

  Stayed here 1 night and glad we did. Arrived early afternoon and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was ok and clean. A nice location too, with the Loue River right there to walk beside. Would stay here again if in the area.

  Pleasant stay. Few annoyances but pleasant.

  The desk manager was very accommodating with out bicycles and allowed us to store them in the large dining area at the rear of the hotel for which we were appreciative. My room was large and faced the front of the street. Despite this there was little evidence of street noise. THe hotel has obviously undergone a bit of a rennovation recently as the smell of fresh paint permeated everywhere. The finishing job has been done poorly and you get a sense that they will need to do it again soon. Small things such as slow wi-fi which was difficult to log into coupled with a bath tub that didn't have a plug were annoying. Given I had a paid a supplement to have a bath that was mildly annoying. Breakfast offerings too were impossibly small. However overall would I go back? Probably yes.

  small rooms, many stairs but pleasant

  Fine location, near Courbet Museum. Welcoming owners but small rooms and undulating approach with elevations. Ill equipped room lacking the fundamentals foR coffee preparation and keeping the water cool (frigo). Further to that the restaurant did not work and the parking was full. Pleasant in toto though and the only one in town that we assessed ipso facto of adequacy

  Traditional comfort facing the river in Ornans

  Stayed here for one night while driving to Italy. Very nice hotel situated in centre or Ornans, which is a very picturesque town dominated by high cliffs. Room very comfortable, on fourth floor with no lift so be prepared to climb some stairs. Excellent restaurant, steak with morille mushrooms was outstanding, also fresh trout available. Very good breakfast in morning, lovely flakey croissants. There is an internal courtyard for parking but this is very small, so if you want a space make sure that you request one when booking.
