Good standard, well located hotel. We had a comfortable, well appointed, room. The service was very good and we had a very enjoyable evening meal in the Brasserie and a good breakfast next morning. The hotel is quite centrally located and the surrounding area made for an enjoyable walk around after supper. We were travelling further South so proximity to the motorway was important and we were only about 10/15 minutes off our route. The hotel also has a charging point for Teslas and simpler PHEVs like ours which was an unexpected plus.

excellent hotelWith No reservation, we arrived here late afternoon Sep 6th. obtained a twin room. then had the choice of bistro restaurant or gourmet. chose the bistro , very good food ,service, room perfect. recommended mid priced. ( by our standards )

Excellent well-placed mid-priced hotelLike others who have reviewed it, we were en route, and chose it not least because of its proximity to the A26. We had booked in advance and already knew that the gourmet restaurant was fully booked, but the bistro (which also features, separately, in Michelin) was excellent (and the difference in price probably meant that our room was free!). The room itself was adequate and very comfortable, and breakfast was typically French - and that is a compliment!

Comfortable quiet hotel in a nice locationMy husband and I came back here partly out of nostalgia. We had a similarly good experience as back in the early 2000s when we stopped on a winter trip to the Alps. This time our corner room on the second floor was peaceful with an attractive view in both directions. The bathroom is high quality, beds comfortable. We had a good dinner with delicious wine in the bistro. Breakfast is excellent - with a special mention for the homemade orange juice. We wandered out afterwards into a large Saturday market you can see from the hotel. Highly recommend this spot for a stopover.

Great reception, staff and food, but poor sound proofingGreat location, lovely staff and good food, but could I get a good nights sleep? No. My room, No 31, seemed to have incredibly poor sound proofing, which prevented a good nights sleep. Unfortunate as it could have been very good were it not for this and it's pretty fundamental when running a hotel I would have thought, particularly when I'd specifically asked for a quiet room. I pointed this out to reception for which they apologised, but the damage was done.
