  Great Staff & Service at a Fair Price

  Hotel Cristallo is not far from the beach and has a great staff. Our 'ocean view' was a term used with a lot of latitude, a very distant sliver could be seen from our balcony. The front desk, cleaning and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop bar was closed :( It doesn't ever seem to be open although it is advertised on their website. The jacuzzi had cold water in it and no one ever seem to use that either. We had a great deal on a four night stay with breakfast included. It was worth what we paid for. Rooms are clean, beach facilities were included and while they were a ways from the oceanfront, worked just fine. Great for families and non-fussy travelers who are there for the beach.

  Lignano No-Frills Hotel

  Typical Lignano Hotel offering small rooms, very moderate breakfast, at no-discount prices; What I've learned from my 20-plus years of experience as a summer tourist in Lignano, there are no hotels in this seaside resort offering spacious rooms at affordable prices near the beach, Thus, Hotel Cristallo is a typical trade-off you have to accept in the Sabbiadoro part of Lignano. Fairly close to the beach (about 3 blocks away), fairly modern (renovated a few years ago), fairly clean, it offers typically small rooms (add at least 10 euros for sea view) at a hefty price (at least in peak season). Good value: small, underused, jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace with impressive panorama view; Needs improvement: "charm" of bored employees behind desk of registration...   Very Helpful Staff.

  I am aware that reviews for others should not be made but, I am the person that made the reservation for my parents who are not computer savvy at all but asked me to write this review for them so I hope it's ok. My parents said that the staff was very nice and attentive to them and the room was comfortable. The facility was very nice and although they stayed only one night they loved the accommodation. Parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast were included.

  family holiday

  Hotel is ok, situated not far from sea. We dont like the food in hotel. Breakfast was poor, dinner average, but staff was very friendly, polite and talkative. There is realy nice sun deck on the roof with jacuzzi. We were in family suite with 2 rooms. The suite was nice, large and clean.

  Specs on Room Floor, No Hot Water, Poor Breakfast - Managment Doesn't Care

  Carpet in hotel room full of specs, poor breakfast (bad coffee (and this in Italy!!), terrible eggs), no hot water for 2 days (electrician doesn't come on weekends); unfriendly, defensive receptionist; rusty rental bikes suddenly hotel charges for parking! a really BAD EXPERIENCE this time around Leo K.
