Some good things, others, not so muchStayed here with a group of 35, which included students (aged 15-18), so we were judged pretty harshly at check-in, especially by one staff member that did not realize that I speak some Italian and could understand her ridiculous and demeaning rant about the kids. Eventually, though, when the staff saw that the students were well-behaved, they warmed up. The hotel's location is perfect - just a couple of minutes to the beach, where the hotel has chairs and umbrellas reserved. Piazza Aurora is lively, bustling with people in the square, and had live performances two of the three nights we stayed there. The down side is that the fun continues until midnight or 1:00 am and the garbage trucks and delivery vans begin making noise at about 5:00 am, so sleeping was a bit challenging. The rooms were clean and the nice (but small) bathroom was recently renovated. My second floor balcony looked right over the square -- great view! It was quite warm during our stay, so we paid an additional fee to have the air conditioning turned on in the rooms (5 Euros per room per day). Be aware of this fee, as it is not publicized on their website. Breakfast was very meager. Watered-down juices, passable coffee, canned fruit, and bread with scraps of meat and cheese were offered to the group. The other guests were able to choose from some higher-quality items, but it did not look like many. Dinner, on the other hand, was fantastic. Home cooked by the owner (and her sister, I believe), the pastas and sauces were great, mains were delicious and generously portioned, and desserts were yummy. Despite it all, I did have a decent stay (the good outweighed the bad, for me), and I might consider staying here again.

Hotel ColonnaAlthough I stayed in this hotel just one night I'd like to do a brief review of it. It's situated on the large Venetian island Lido di Jesolo. It is a family-run hotel with a long tradition, and recently renovated. We heard that from our guide. I must admit that I was very pleased with the service, the cleanliness and location. I recommend it to all those who are coming here by car.

A great place to stayWe have stayed there for 4days.Fully satisfied with the service. The location is perfect ,some minutes walk to the beach where you are provided with free beds and umbrellas, the hotel is situated in a busy place but it doesn't mean you are disturbed with the crowds of people walking around,it has its charm. The rooms are very clean, the beds, the linen are just for good sleep. We had a room with a balcony. The hotel has bikes which are a good entertainment as well. But what is the most important-its stuff is so experienced, friendly and helpful.Women at the reseption are well done!!!Liked this fact very much.Special thanks to them.
