August 5-days visitExcellent food & drinks, fantastic value/price ratio, very good service. Small room, but nice shower, clima in the room. That s all what we needed. Special thanks to Alexandra Bizjak, big up for her approach

Alpska Perla - Great place, but unpleasant staff ruin the experienceWe spent 3 days in the ski resort, eating and drinking at Alpska Perla everyday. The food/drinks were generally really good, but we had some crazy moments with the staff. They were generally very unpolite and rude, and we often heard them fighting and shouting at each other in a very unprofessional way. There was one guy who seemed to be the manager, who was being extremely rude to the other staff and to us. One time he started shouting to his fellow employee because she said a wrong price to us, while waving with the pricelist in front of her face and threatening to "THROW THE PRICELIST IN HER FACE NEXT TIME!". That happened in front of us and other customers, and felt really uncomfortable. There was a another weird situation were my wife ordered a hot chocolate (a melted chocolate drink). The waiter brought her a cocoa drink. When my wife asked if they had melted chocolate instead of the milk with powdered cocoa, the waiter started literally SHOUTING AT MY WIFE that this is their hot chocolate, and she will not get anything else anywhere. My wife then took the drinks to the cashier. The cashier said "two cocoa drinks" and named the price, after which my wife repeated that these were hot chocolates according to the waiter, after which the cashier replied "this is not hot chocolate, we have also hot chocolate but the waiters probably DON'T FEEL LIKE MAKING YOU ONE, BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY..." My wife said she will not get the drinks and left the counter. After that we tried doing the opposite, I paid for the hot chocolate and went to get the drink afterwards. I got the cocoa drinks instead (keep in mind the hot chocolate is more expensive than the cocoa drink). I said to the waitress this is cocoa drink, not hot chocolate, after which she replied that if I want I can COME AND MAKE ONE MYSELF BEHIND THE COUNTER IF I CAN DO BETTER. I went to the cashier to get my money back, after which came the manager guy and said I got what I ordered, and that I should go away. In the end, after repeated insults and what not I somehow got my money back... We have seen similar situations with shouting and what not with other people as well. I think the owners should consider some training with their staff on professionalism, because this is damaging their otherwise really good business.

Ski holidayThis hotel is very good if your planning to go skiing. The staff are excellent, particularly Natasa & Teja the receptionists. They helped us to look up bus routes and their timings. We opted for b&b which was good. The restaurant dishes were okay. This hotel is ideal if your looking for some rest. There is zero things do in Cerkno. We kept on travelling outside of Cerkno to do things. There are only two local bars nearby. There are also a few grocery shops nearby and a bakery. If you dont drive or hire a car then this location is definitely not ideal! We paid 169 for a taxi from Ljubljana Airport to Cerkno! The views are absolutely amazing! We had a river right outside our balcony and drawing the curtains each day to the view from our windows was absolutely amazing!

slovinskoClassic mountain accommodation in a small town. We only ordered breakfast. Room with balcony and toilet - ok Breakfast in the form of buffet, also ok, but basically still the same choice of food. Staff nice and smiling! otherwise the way to the lake Bohinj takes 1hr 20min, you have to cross a few hills, up and down :) It is about the same, but it can be connected to the expressway + highway towards Lubljana. There are several restaurants and bars around the hotel. You can also go hiking. If the weather was bad, the hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and also led to food stuffs.
