  Only plus is close to ski lift!

  If you are used to quality in your hotels or apartments avoid this place. The rooms are bare to say the least and all furniture is basic IKEA. Hardly any utensils and rooms are small. No laundry facilities which is unheard of if traveling with kids for a week in an apartment in Switzerland. The wellness is disgusting. The pool is not big enough to swing a cat and is outdoor so its freezing. The kids play room is just a huge room with a few toys thrown in, no attention to detail in the place whatsoever. The pizza restaurant was the worst pizza we have ever had and they are supposed to have a pizza champion chef there! And the staff are clueless. Only 2 positive points are close the ski lift and the steak restaurant which was nice. Disentis itself is dull with nothing to do! Spend your money elsewhere.

  Good location + value, food and wifi could be better

  The hotel is very conveniently located only 150 metres below the main gondola and just across the next Coop supermarket. The photos on TripAdvisor are misleading, as "Catrina" includes a 3* hotel, a 4* resort, as well as a hostel and a lodge. We were staying in the three star hotel. Checking-in was super friendly and easy, there ample free parking in front of the hotel. Our room on the second floor was very spacious and surprisingly well-equipped (mini fridge, hairdryer, huge closets, extra bed we didn't pay for). However, it was very gloomy and lacked a place to dry wet skiing gear (no radiators). While the sleeping area had been recently updated, the bathroom was still a bit dated, but still clean and very functional. The selection of foods at breakfast was a bit limited for my taste, but there was plenty of fresh fruit, cheeses and breads to choose from. For dinner you could choose between two main courses plus salad and a dessert. The dining room was very crowded and it was extremely noisy, it felt more like a train station. Food was simple and somewhat mediocre. With our key cards we could use the pool and spa area that is in the Catrina Resort across the street. What quite bummed me was the atrocious wifi connection. The hotel offers free wifi that is the same in the resort, the restaurants and shops (since all belong together), but in the hotel it often didn't work at all and when it did it was really slow (1MBit down). All things considered, I believe that the value you get is pretty good.

  Well organized and connected, Catrina has various features. Summer season lifts and rides are included. Family friendly, beautiful spa and wellness area. We are sure to return to this place. Shopping facilitiy within the complex. Two restaurants offer all kinds of cuisine. A very nice experience.

  Great Value for Money!

  We had a brilliant stay, the receptionist was super helpful, explained the spa was free and open until 9pm, towels were in our room, free tickets for the cable car available at reception and late check out was possible! The apartments were clean and comfortable, we got take away pizzas from the Italian restaurant which were good and the coop downstairs was super handy. Highly recommend and will return!

  Winter holidays

  Can only recommend this hotel to anyone, whether it is the rooms or the courteous staff, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic where traveling isnt easy...Catrina Resort exceeded all expectations, food, service guest relations...etc. the Penthouse Apartment is amazing, beautifully and stylishly furnished and comfortably accommodated a minimum of 6 adults in luxury. It doesnt matter if you are into wintersports or simply want to relax and enjoy the spa or a stunning view...all is offered. Thank you Catrina Resort and staff for an awesome week, me and my friends had the time of our lives
