  Hotel at Mongla Bangladesh

  After a tiring flight from dubai to chittagong, chittagong to Dhaka, then Dhaka to Mongla (Jesshore), catching 3 flights in less than 24hrs, and 3 hrs by josshore to mongla hotel castle salam, it was relief to see the hotel amenities and service and the facilitiesm, it was a great relief to take rest for a long journey. The hotel staff is friendly and co-operative. You will get all kind of food where you will never be kept starving, breakfast is good and no problems in staying in this hotel. The place is quiet and no disturbances, you can get a peaceful sleep. Trust everyone enjoys this hotel stay.

  Best stay in Khulna

  I have stayed here for few days and loved it, starting from their breakfast to food quality and rooms are amazing along with the swimming pool too! Staffs are friendly and well trained! Looking forward to stay again!

  Well, It was renovated recently!

  It was nice room with clean toilet ! newly renovated with high standard techniques apply in the rooms (door bell, washroom phones) But one thing that I dislike n i gave them 3 points is that they don't really care about AC cleaning ! I had to ask bellboy to clean the AC and If not I really get sick with dirty AC. I had to clean myself with brushes n water to make it clean and so much black dust fell down from AC !!!!! I really upset n called the manager to see what is happening to AC maintenance. They said They will take care of it well next time!

  Best in Town, but Not Great

  There are very few options in Khulna for a hotel of international standards. This hotel barely passes. The front desk staff is a bit disinterested. The breakfast was perhaps the worst of all hotels I stayed at in Bangladesh. The water in the shower was cool at best. The "engineer" they sent to fix the water didn't know which knob was hot or cold. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. There were no towels, soap or shampoo in the room when we arrived. Dinner was passable and, again, probably the best option in town. The wifi really didn't work. You could occasional get a text to go through but it was inconsistent and basically useless.

  Used third party booking like Agoda. They gave very bad rooms as bait and suggests the customer to take expensive suits,

  My search criteria was one room 2 person from booking .com. Somehow was tricked to go to agoda and the search criteria changed to 1 person. I booked for 8days. booking #302178006. Was in great trouble when we arrived the hotel. The room had only a very old TV , dirty walls , pillows and bed mattress. Wanted to switch to a twin room . They did not have except luxury suits, which was an additional Tk. 6000/ per night that is $70/ night, too much for Bangladesh . Wanted to leave the hotel after bitten by mosquitoes 2 nights. Hotel refused to pay back the money and did not give me a receipt when We move to a different hotel on the 3rd day. I called my credit card company to cancel payment. They did. Agoda said the hotel is refusing to pay back . Probably will take the case to US court . Today is 3/6/20.Will try to put the pictures of the room and pillows.
