  Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Dalyan

  Stayed here for two nights at the start of a small group tour and thought it was a really friendly and relaxed hotel. The staff were helpful and it felt family-run. The rooms were a bit basic, but clean and comfortable. We had a room on the ground floor with a lovely little balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was Turkish style with a range of salad, cheeses, yoghurt and breads with plenty of nice jams and honeys. Beautiful terrace to eat at with hanging flowers all around. Being so close to the edge of the town made it easy to pop in and out for shops, cafes or just to wander around the river area and view the rock tombs at night. We didn't use the swimming pool but it looked very inviting. Could definitely have stayed longer.

  Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Rooms tiny and so run down. No space to store clothes. Toilet broken. Balcony covered in overgrown plants. Poolside dirty, pool water green, loungers hroken, umbrellas broken. Breakfast was terrible flies over food. Same bread used for days. Gets wrapped up in polybags and put out next day. Have to toast it but not allowed to use the little two slice toaster they have. Waiter insists on doing it and burns the toast every time. The hotel has such potential but at the moment a complete disaster

  Theres quite a few negative reviews on here about this hotel. I stayed for 12 nights from 20/09/2019. I booked half board and it cost £21 per night! Given the price paid the hotel was excellent. The good points: - meticulously clean. The bathroom was cleaned with bleach every day and the wooden floor was mopped every day. Sheets and towels changed every other day. - the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. - the air conditioning was free - the pool area was lovely, although some of the loungers could do with an update. - located within a few minutes walk of the main area of bars and restaurants. - nice and quiet at night, far enough away from the main bars/restaurants to be quiet but close enough for a short walk to the night life. - staff were friendly, helpful and knew enough English to be able to help. Room for improvement: - although very clean, the bathroom would benefit from an update. - the breakfast was traditional Turkish breakfast, which got a little samey but there was plenty of it and the tea was nice and strong! - evening meal on half board consisted of soup, salad which was extensive, main course, there was no choice but the food was fresh and well cooked. However, there are many restaurants within a few minutes walk.....I only booked half board as I did not know the resort or what would be available. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again if travelling to Dalyan solo again.

  I would not recommend this hotel at all.

  My room was around average for a 2 or a 3 star. Basic really. But the worst thing about my stay was my dealings with the boss, Ali, who was extremely unprofessional, exploitative and dishonest and for this reason I would not recommend this hotel at all.

  Great stay at Caria Royal

  Stayed for 5 nights in Nov and after reading reviews must admit were a little worried however we had a great time here! Our room was overlooking the pool, spacious room, very clean, free air con and Wi-Fi enough choice at breakfast and for the price was amazing value! Staff friendly and kept very clean. All in all a good experience for us and would return when back in Dalyan.
