  Faded is retro

  As an extention to our Lido holiday we needed a hotel room for 3 nights. I looked for a children friendly hotel, directly by the sea and I found Hotel Capri. We ended up staying almost for a whole week. The hotel: the building has an excellent location by the sea, on the promenade, close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms: standard 3* rooms, I'd even give them 4*. Best rooms are on floors 2-3-4 We have booked a family room and got interconnecting rooms, my baby boy had a full view on the sea from his cot. The hotel really is children friendly, they have heated outside pools, childrens play area, a video room, free cots and buggies, free bikes, pretty much everything for a perfect holiday. Food: we only had breakfast, that was a standard Italian breakie, nothing fantastic, but pretty good, with fresh fruit every day. We loved the place, the owner, the service and will be back most certainly. A little secret about the hotel is that the best view is from the balcony of the laundry located on the sixth floor. Go and have a sneak peek if you can :-)

  MARAVILLOSO

  Un hotel muy calido, familiar. Excelentemente bien atendido tanto en recepción como en el restaurante. Muy limpio. una comida italiana de lujo con un equipo de garzones de lujo, muy simpáticos y serviciales. una ubicación bien central, con una vista maravillosa desde todas las habitaciones. También tiene piscina, pero con ese mar Adriático hermoso, la verdad no es necesaria. Fue una experiencia maravillosa haber estado en el Hotel Capri. Espero regresar algún día con toda mi familia. UNA EXPERIENCIA MARAVILLOSA HABER ESTADO EN EL HOTEL CAPRI. ESPERO REPETIR LA VISITA.

  good and cheap

  well prepared hotel rooms. cheap apartaments. responsible and helpful staff. close to the beach, and shops, we do not like the restaurant as the service sometimes slowbut it is ok. not the first but not the last summer for us:)

  Nice, but...

  ...the single room is not big enough to open middle - size suitcase. Rooms and bathrooms are rather old. Reception manager attitude towards clients is... weird if e do not want to use stronger words. Breakfast is fine, but the hall is far too small for the guests and it was getting stuck almost everyday (still before high season came).

  Decent place with a pool

  This hotel is well situated. Ideal for anyone wish to visit Aqualandia as it's a ten minute stroll away. The pool at the back is excellent. The breakfast has a decent selection and a great array of coffees and hot chocolates. For anyone wishing to visit Venice you'll find a ticket shop near by as well as the bus stop. There is also an ATM machine at the side of the hotel which is very handy.
