  Poor

  Run down, bed okay, water hot, only two nice things to be said about this place, if they showed you a picture of what you were staying in...you wouldn't stay for free. Dont be fooled bythe picture on the web site, thats only the booking office. Noise from road .On turning on tv was greeted by message on screen..'YOU ARE A KNOB' someones idea of a joke. Will be asking for my money back Disgusting. Never again felt very unsafe

  Cheap and nasty

  Zero stars if possible, has the feel of somewhere prostitutes would hang out and drug users would congregate. Upon arrival the attitude received by the 'general manager' Jess can only be compared to something in High school towards a naughty school boy after forgetting his homework. Whilst advertising breakfast as continental one may expect more than a croissant after being charged £3.95, which was slightly disappointing considering a full day's work lies ahead. Kettle didn't work, hot water stopped working on the last day and being on the outside of the hotel meant a very noisy stay being so close to the main road Stayed for 3 nights and never received a change of bedding or a room clean. All in all a very unpleasant stay.

  The Worst of the Worst . . .

  Filthy dirty, damp and smelly, vile and unsanitary. After one experience of this hell hole, I can honestly say, that it would be more comfortable, warmer, and safer, to sleep outdoors near a buildings extractor vent. It wasn't until after the disgusting experience, that I found out that this place had a dire local reputation, and was prolifically used by prostitutes and addicts, to do 'business', 'use', and lay low.

  Upon arrival the hotel looked tired but as we parked up (free parking) and went to reception and booking in we were given the key the room was very clean and bathroom was excellent we were asked to enter the car reg in to the hotel computer we were asked if we needed tea coffee etc and supplied it apart from one miner fault I would give this hotel 99.9% out of 100 the fault was there was only 2 single sockets available one for tv the other was the kettle these should be changed to 2 doubles and it would have been 100% the staff and manager were fantastic and YES I WILL USE CAMPANILE HOTELS AGAIN Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing stay yours mr MT GUEST

  Refund woes due to cancellation because of NO Hot Water

  Call received when on-route from Kent, stating there was no water in hotel. after confirming on day i would be refunded if i found alternative hotel. Atfer 2 months no refund, 3-4 calls to hotel and last minute each claiming other party had my money. After speaking to the General Manager to request a email from them, stating i should be refunded(not in reasonable in my opinion), she asked if i could give her time to look into it, and she'd called me the following day. no call the next day, i had to call them back 2 days later, to be told my money was with a 3rd party. her expectation was i should be overjoyed at her finding my money. i know that after 2 months it wasn't, and still isn't in my account. i will add that lastminute have been equally unhelpful. Reluctantly i got my email. I will also i have stayed before before the 1st national lockdown, and found it adequate considering its a low budget organisation
