  Honor to stay in historic premiere hotel.

  I had heard how the Burgess was a special place to stay in its hay day. It used to have a restaurant too. Now its restored and not only beautiful but comfortable with all the amenities. The owners are a super family and will help with whatever your plans are. Mamas Cafe is across the street and is WONDERFUL! Great menu and friendly owner.

  Terrible. And I never write reviews.

  Hair in shower. Sheets dirty. Stains on carpet. Sink too small to not hit my elbows on wall. Bad combo of shady turnpike Super 8, crappy dorm and Euro cross country train car. Tiny window box a/c, which make me sick. No cable tv, just Netflix with weird queues. Walk up - no lift. Bad Paris Hobby Libby decor. Understaffed. No one at desk. Security a joke, lobby open with no attendant and one door lock on room, no chain even. Keys that could be copied at the drug store with dog tag chains. NOT A wASHCLOTH. Horrible mattress. Sheets see through zero percent cotton. Tiny pillow. Plain synthetic comforter, no covers. This hotel single handedly has turned me into a person asking questions like do you have shampoo in your shower? (No). Does anyone help you up the stairs? (No.) ... had to write this bc the pictures say hey, boutique charm. But reality is shanty with good old stain on the wood.

  Covid Unsafe and a Dump with a Nice Hallway

  The front desk refuses to wear a mask at a time when 500,000 Americans have died. They dont enforce having their guests wear masks. They were very nice though and let us out of our 2 night reservation in the two bed presidential room 19. The room is awful. And the second-floor hallway is actually very attractive the dock doors are beautiful and the wood floors quite well renovated. They wanted to move us because there was a sewage leak from that room going into the next-door Vape shop. Years ago before a renovation I stayed at the Edgewater Inn which is the only other in Reedley. If youre there for bike rides and blossoms perhaps just stay at the Edgewater although I cant tell whether their remodel has upped their quality. Oh and by the way the stairway to the second floor is really beautiful but its definitely not code compliant in terms of the riser height and width of the steps. So its pretty darn tricky to navigate and steeper than current code Though they may be grandfathered. With professional management and spending money on room decor and pricing at comparably to the Edgewater perhaps its a place to stay for blossom viewing.

  Very quaint, perfect location

  We just stayed in the Hotel Burgess presidential suite and really enjoyed it. Were so happy this hotel finally reopened. Its really charming, clean, and very comfortable beds. We couldnt figure out the Roku streaming TV remote and the front desk person was up to our room within 2 minutes to show us how to work it. Great location and a delicious cafe down the street for breakfast. Well definitely be back for our next trip to Reedley.

  Wonderful hotel! Will be back

  Absolutely adored this hotel Definitely 5 stars! An amazing historical building, and wonderful hotel, we are definitely hoping to return in the near future! We started in an extremely well maintained, clean and comfortable room, which was pretty massive! With a wonderful en suite, with shower and bath. Large built in closet, lil fridge, and coffee making facilities, comfy queen size bed, large television, dresser desk with mirror and cute lil armchair. We had a rear facing room, so not much of a view out the window, but it was still nice being able to see Reedley go by. Really friendly and helpful staff, Wendy was so lovely!
