A true gem - perfect place to unwind!Located in the Naantali old town, this magnificent family-owned hotel provides a perfect setting for relaxation and high-quality accommodation. The hotel is in a beautiful wooden house, built in 1880 and restored with style. With modern amenities (e.g. great shower, air conditioning) it is both functional and with classic contemporary interior pampers one's senses. Rooms are spacious, equipped with a comfortable bed, and so beautifully decorated that I could have just sat there forever and enjoy... Breakfast is super tasty (one of the best I've ever had!), offering a large variety of options, such as croissants, Karelian pasty and other pasties, bread, porridge, yoghurt with different tastes, fruit, cereal, etc. In addition, you can make your own waffles and enjoy them with jam and whipped cream! Yummy. Staff is very friendly and helpful creating a wonderful atmosphere. And the hotel offers and exceptionally good entertainment for kids - playhouse at the outside terrace and a play area inside the house with loads of books and toys. Strong recommendation!

Superior Deluxe-roomWe were not so delighted of our room (199/night) at inner yard in a carage-like new building as we booked a room from a charming old house from Old Naantali. Semi-luxurious interior (Riviera Maison) did not help as there was almost like window at all. Room was cold when we arrived, coffee stains at the wall... Highlight of our stay was a possibility to bake your own waffles at breakfast :-).

Nice place but missing fire alarms!Stayed here in October with 3 kids. The place is centrally located and has pretty rooms. However, we noticed quite late in the evening that our room had not fire alarms. This really is not ok. Also read some reviews from earlier this year that they were missing then too. So cannot give more than 1 star. Also the room was a quite chilly but didnt feel like turning on the heaters as they were those do not cover ones that however were covered by the curtains (and having the fire alarms missing and all). Breakfast was really nice and the breakfast room was beautiful but also pretty chilly. Good to note that at least our room (no 10) had really steep stairs to the other bedroom upstairs with no gate downstairs so if you have kids in the climbing age and want to relax do not pick this room.
