  Poor Hotel

  Hotel Bosfora has two good features only. Location and the desk's staff. Goksel, Ali and Rahmi are wonderful. They are very sincere and helpful. They try their best to help guests. We stayed at the hotel for 22 days. after three days they moved us to a completely different room from what we've booked. Rooms are noisy. They told me that the hotel is completely booked and our room isn't available. The breakfast is just mediocre comparing it to famous Turkish Breakfast in other hotels, with very limited options. It is far from what you see in their gallery. In fact, I do not know where is this breakfast picture coming from. And most the time if you arrive after one hour from the opening you will net get that much. The leady in charge of the breakfast was grumpy and on top of that it was disgusting to get your breakfast whit guest who came out of hair implant and their heads are covered with bandages. The cleaning was awful. They do not clean the room unless you asked them which does not make sense. They do not replace the toiletry if you do not ask. Most of the time they did not replace the towels until we get to our room at night and the desk staff to get us new dry clean ones. Without Goksel, Ali and Rahmi we would have left the hotel. I will not come back or recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Cozy Hotel

  I stayed for 10 days in the Bosfora Hotel and I had a nice experience. It is a small hotel in Besiktas neighborhood, good location not so tourist and close to public transport. The desks staff, Goskel and Ali, are very nice and helpfull. The room is big with a good bed and good shower. The breakfeast could be better, few options, whitout fruits and always the same.

  You get what you pay for

  The room was spacious and the staff very friendly. The area is nice. And thats about that. You must walk 1,4km to the closest metro station, the breakfast is so poor wed rather eat outside, theres alot of mold in the bathroom, the shower spills water inconsistently and the room wasnt near as clean as some reviews may say. The rooms are VERY noisy, since the hotel is situated in a busy avenue...you will be awaken by the aggressive drivers honking. Its maybe ok for the price, but I hoped the cleaning standards would be higher.

  Really good value for money!

  Great location, spacious room and friendly personnel! The hotel is situated in one of the most posh areas in Istanbul, in the centre of the European side. Most of the buildings have security and police patrols pass by this street, so even though most of the people in the city don't speak English, and even though I stayed solo at this hotel, I felt safe! Half the personnel did not speak English, but we could somehow still communicate, since they were kind enough to combine some words they knew in English with some body language using hands, in order to communicate what they wanted to say ;) Room was really big and well equipped with all necessities, not excluding big wardrobes! Many taxis pass by, and you can find a carefour supermarket just 50 metres distance from the hotel, as well as plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops in the area. On the cons side, the room was not always cleaned up to the standard I would expect, and the breakfast was really poor. But for the prices they charge, I would totally recommend it!
