Great views, clean, average service. We spent a few nights in this hotel. The first two were quiet and lovely. Unfortunately, the last one was really loud because of the neighbors (not the hotels fault). The manager was nice but not much more outgoing than the needed check-in/out service. The third day our room wasnt cleaned for some reason. The view is stunning from the last floor! I would recommend this place during the low tourist season in order to enjoy the silence the mountains have to offer.

Hotel clean, but not very charmingThe hotel is clean and within foot distance of Kandersteg village but not very charming. The directrice is dog-friendly though. Breakfast was a bit on the cheap side for a three-star hotel. Rooms to the street are very loud.

Great hotelClean hotel in a really central location. Beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. If you get the local bus or get the cable car up to the mountain, ask at reception for a card for a discount would recommend going up the mountain and walking to lake oeschinen! Amazing !

Mike and Connie MooreWe find this Hotel in particular one of the best in the region for many different reasons. The food is delicious and healthy, the staff are very friendly and they always make us feel welcome. You get very good value for the price. The owner speaks both English and French very well. They care about nature and handle things accordingly, i.e. sauna on request, tap water for free, shuttle service, just to mention a few. We will be back, for sure!

Clean and correct, but rather tiredOur stay here was fine. The hotel was clean and functional. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a very modest continental breakfast, relatively limited and ran out of some items which were not replenished. We had hoped to use the sauna, but they only switched it on when someone wanted to use it, and since we hadn't known this in advance, we couldn't use it when we wanted to. The hotel seems a little tired in the public areas, and little attention is paid to the overall aesthetic (lots of stuff seemed to be stored in public areas, so the whole place had a functional rather than stylish approach. We had a good dinner in the restaurant (the fish and chips pictured above haha). Staff were friendly. For this, the price was, we thought, and given other stays on our short trip, relatively poor value for money. Hotels in Switzerland are generally very expensive anyway, but even so to pay over CHF200 for a night seemed steep.
