  Excelente ubicación

  Hotel con una excelente ubicación. La habitación demasiado pequeña pero bien equipada. El SPA es fantástico y ofrece buenos masajes. La piscina del ático es pequeña pero ofrece muy buenas vistas. Algunos empleados no hablan inglés.

  Smell of vomiting and noise of the airconditioning system

  My boyfriend booked a hotel room in Blu Bay for my birthday on 9th. We actually wanted to stay there during our whole week in Sozopol, but was overbooked. And Im actually glad after what we saw in the hotel. The hotel condition is far away of what you could see in Instagram, booking.com and Trip Advisor. The facilities&common areas are obviously not well maintained! The apartment we spent a night were with a big stain at the bad frame and was smelling weird. In the morning I found that thats most probably a stain of vomit. Disgusting! The air conditioning system was extremely noisy even with AC off, the staff told they cant do anything. I guess its been the kitchen air conditioning installation which stopped around midnight or later. Im a light sleeper and cant deal with any noise during night. All this are my guesses only as no one talked to us during the check out. My partner didnt want to be offered 5% discount and decided not to open a conversation. I think ranking places helps improving the service though and allows guests to make better choices where to stay. And Blu Bay gets zero from me! Oh, forget about the small welcome drinks or fruits, or macaroons in the rooms. In general I would say that there is a great idea behind the hotel and some of the furniture is good quality, but there are many cheap things and parts of the construction which look (and sound )terrible. I recommend stay somewhere else!

  A beautiful hotel

  The Blu Bay Hotel is a beautiful hotel - our room was awesome, the breakfast was super tasty, and the pool area was idyllic (albeit, at times, there were not enough sun loungers for all the guests). We had an issue with the valet and our car but the hotel sorted it out immediately and it didn't dampen our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Sozopol.

  Best Hotel on the Bulgarian Black Sea

  This is probably the best luxury hotel on the Bulgarian Black Sea; the rooms are very comfortable, the staff are -mostly- very polite and the restaurant is top-notch! There are a few small things that bothered me, however, including the ridiculous underground parking, which is absolutely unusable, the limited selection of breakfast choices (there was no banitza!), and the somewhat noisy rooms, where you could sometimes hear the TV of your neighbours. Despite that though, its a great place to spend a few days in the summer. Recommended!

  Blu Bay Hotel Sozopol

  We managed to stay in the hotel twice this summer. In my humble opinion this is by far the best hotel around Sozopol. The rooms are really beautifully done, breakfast was delicious, service was good, cleaning was good too. On the 2 occasions we slept in room with marina view- which was ok and the second time were in studio and the view was sensational. Overall, I really liked the hotel. There is obviously opportunity to be better(eg. better and more professional service in the restaurant during dinner. You have very expensive bottles of wines, the waiters should be better prepared for conversations, advices, suggestions, etc. about it to make guests feel more welcomed), but it clicked on most points for me. Will visit again next year.
