  a little jewel

  We accidentally found this delightful hotel whilst looking for another place- and stayed ! Fabien the owner/ manager was so helpful and fun that we could not help but smile after a long day travelling. He only had one room left which was large by French standards, - the bathroom was soon to be renovated - but was perfectly adequate, the room with decorative fire place, was high ceilinged and airy, with lovely shutters onto the square. The bed very comfy and the room very clean. It was a charming place and felt delightfully individual. We parked close by again thanks to Fabien at no cost and were close to all the sights of Limoges. After exploring the town we came back and had dinner at the bistro which was delightful - fresh local produce, perfectly presented and possibly the best chocolate mousse we have ever eaten! It was also reasonably priced. If you want a little touch of old world charm in your hotel, friendly and helpful English speaking staff and delicious food stay here- it was a little hidden treasure on our travels.

  First night in France, and what a night!

  Nice hotel, great restaurant and food, and Fabrice and Gilles were a great double act! Nothing was too much trouble. The market on Saturday was a bonus. Didn't need to walk into the town centre - we had everything we needed on our doorstep including a craft beer bar!

  Great little place

  Typical Logis de France. New owners (since a year or so) spruced up the place. Staff is very helpful and speak, apart from French of course, Spanish, Portuguese and even some English. Fantastic big room on the second floor (no elevator). Newly decorated bathroom. No airconditioning so it did get warm. Leaving windows open is not a real option since there's a busy street and square next to the hotel (with windows closed no noise because of newly placed modern windows). I did find a fan in the cupboard the next morning. Free parking on a part of the square opposite of the hotel. Food is as to be expected. Nothing special, but well made and not too expensive. Service good. Breakfast is simple but adequate. I liked this place. Good value for money with very friendly staff.

  Superb

  An absolutely fantastic small hotel with restaurant in Limoges within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking is easy in the square across the road - there are paying and free sections - and if you are there on a Saturday morning there is a market. If this is the case, move your car after 19h00 into the street by the hotel entrance. The rooms are lovely and well-equipped. There was a fan in our room due to the hot weather and with the windows closed you do no hear the road outside. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good. The limousin steak and chips were excellent and the recommended wine perfect. One of the great strengths of this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We would definitely stay here again. This is a model of how to run a hotel!

  Acogedor y atención amable

  Hotel con mucho encanto, limpio y acogedor. Agradecer la atención de los dueños desde que llegamos. La habitación familiar muy bien cuidada. El desayuno es escaso para valer 9. Nos quedamos a cenar el día de llegada y la calidad de la comida es muy buena.
