This hotel stinks !We spent one night at this hotel at 16th July 2013 (via Donau Touristik) and we have actually never experienced anything like this before. When we got to our room it turned out to be a smokers room but we managed to get another room, which wasn't a smokers room any longer but clearly used to be a smokers room. Actually the entire hotel stinks of tobacco smoke, all over the place, really discusting. Furthermore the (non-excisting)service was a joke, especially when we arrived back at the hotel after a dinner in the city, the desk clerk neither looked at us nor spoke one weard in reply to our request for the key and wifi-access, very very rude. Actually there was also very much noice during the night from a building right across from the hotel (for which the hotel can not be blamed) which was just another bad thing about this 4 star hotel, which really makes you wonder what it actually takes to be entitled to these stars.... So unless you actually like the smell of tobacco smoke and enjoys rude service and doesn't need to sleep though the night - DON'T GO THERE !!!

Very pleasant stayStayed with my parents here in August 2015. Lovely clean and tidy hotel, a little dated but everything was in very good condition and it certainly didn't feel tired or worn out. The room was nice and very comfortable. Bathroom and separate WC were recently redecorated beautifully and very stylish. We had a good sized balcony. Mini bar facility was very well stocked and refrigerated. Little disappointed that there was not tea and coffee making facility in the room. No air conditioning either but the large windows did the trick for keeping cool at night. Breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous. Excellent selection of breads, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, fruits, eggs and yoghurt. The breakfast room was lovely and bright. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. My mother was in a wheelchair throughout the stay due to ill health. The staff were fantastic and reserved a special table for us each morning at breakfast which was easy to access for my mother's wheelchair. We were so grateful for this.

EssentialThis place is convenient and clean, for sure. But definitely needs a renovation. Rooms are spacious and just for one night was ok, but seems you're back in the '80s. Breakfast ok but nothing to rememebr either. Ok if you need just a place to rest on the way. Good price/quality ratio though. Decent, just that. Make sure to have written confirmation of what you booked!

Better look for something else in DornbirnThey have hot and loud rooms, poor wifi and probably no english speaking workers. At night it's even hard to find some german speaking employees. They have very poor communication skills. It's located next to a main road in town you can hear the traffic. The building is old but it's clean enough for the prices.

Neither good, not badReception people are very kind. Although they do no have the best buffet and facilities I have seen ever, they are very correct. Maybe they have to improve the isolation from the street, but the room was clean and comfortable. They have some old furniture and hunt stuff in the corridors, an interesting (though old fashioned) detail. 6 over 10.
