  The restaurant from hell

  Actually Venice is a very beautiful place and I reward it 100/100, I will be back one day! However the Hotel Bettina was of a very poor standard! The hotel restaurant was a disaster! The food was bog standard, the restaurant staff seemed to have little or no proper training in catering, the restaurant manager called Luigi was arrogant, unfriendly and seemed to have little knowledge of what he was doing.I have been to beautiful Italy many times and have never came across such a terrible place! Truly shocking!

  We liked it very much

  It's a very good hotel as for a *** hotel. And though the room was rather small, we were impressed with the size of our balcony. We had breakfasts only in this hotel which is rather good for those who want to experiment with the local cuisine. Breakfasts were rather typical, but I can understand it as a woman. There is always a strict number of dishes to cook for breakfast and always hard to decide what to cook. Buns and croissants were always fresh for breakfast. It is always clean in the hotel. Maids clean up every day, bring new towels and clean sheets EVERY SINGLE DAY! (It's such a rarity for Ukrainian hotels even with *****) There are slight cosmetic alterations in the room as well as in the bathroom, the bathroom equipment is brand new and was disinfected every day. NEGATIVE: Wardrobes are soooo old in this hotel. They look like extraterrestrials from the 70-s. Balcony doors are also very old and haven't got any mosquito screen (which is rather important for Jesolo). No place to hang your stuff in the sun to make it dry. And finally audibility. I can't sleep now because I can hear all the small talks from my German and Italian neighbours.

  Very friendly hotel with great food

  I led a party of 43 in June. Reception in next door linked hotel was supremely helpful at all times. The manager spoke colloquial English and others had good English. Sun beds and parasols on nearby beach were free as were basic bikes. All rooms were clean and maintained and well serviced. Built in air con just coped with a heat wave! Easy access to buses then ferry Venice. Excellent quiet environment with loads of shops in easy walking distance.

  Great value for money

  My friend and I placed the reservation less than 1 day in advance. Got an early check-in, 2 parking spots (one in the alley next to the hotel), 2 welcome drinks (one each), 2 recliners and a parasol, breakfast for 2 all included in the price of the reservation. The hotel is clean and very close to the beach

  Needs improvement !

  A good location two steps from the beach. The deck chair and the umbrellas are free, and during your stay, you know exactly where your place is on the beach. The personal is polite, especially the blonde waitress with glasses. At the breakfast the omelette ,was full of oil on top. The snack / salami did not look good at all, and the fruits did not look fresh. There were enough dishes for dinner but in vain,because they did not taste good and were served cold !
