  en primer lugar decir que lo anuncian como excelente y deja muchisimo que desear lo anuciona como spa y gimnasio ,mentira te tiene que llevar a otro hotel para este servicio.todo lo siguiente tambien son mentiras piscina infantil no hay,area de jardines tampoco,billar ,gimnasia acustica,cena a la cartam etc etc , la comida la traen de otro hotel ,estusimos cuatro dias con la maquina de las beb idas estropeda sin arreglar , la comida escasa y muy repetitiva, si se acababa no reponian vamos malisimo el aira acondicionado si pero de pago 7 euros al dia vamos mi opinion es muy malo

  A fun and happy place to be

  Given the current situation we had another lovely time. If you talk to the staff and have fun you will enjoy yourself. They just want to make your stay as stress free and as pleasurable as possible. The food is ok to very good depending on what you like but there are some lovely restaurants nearby if you want something different. The rooms are clean with excellent showers. The nearby beach can be as busy or as quiet as you want it depending on where you go. The sea is warm and can be be flat calm. We hope to go back again in 2021.

  Holiday

  Another fabulous stay at our favourite hotel with it's caring staff, beautiful accommodation and lovely views. Each year just gets better and better. Will definitely be revisiting again, such a good way to chill out and enjoy a more relaxed way of life, especially given the current situation. xxx

  Smaller is better

  The Belmare hotel is a fabulous little hotel. On arrival And throughout our stay you felt extremely welcome by all the Staff. Everywhere was super clean and dining area was spacious, tables distanced. Service at meals was excellent as was with Kris at the pool bar. Fitness suite wasnt open due to Covid. Close to the beautiful natural beach of Lothiarika, beach sports if you wanted them. Car hire is recommended so you can explore the southern parts of Rhodes island, stunning beaches and hill top villages. What a great time we have had

  A lovely 10 day break in the sunshine.

  We stayed at the Belmare Hotel from 6th to the 16th October. It is a small hotel with about 50 rooms ideally suited to adults rather than families with young children. We were delighted with the welcome at the reception by Anna and Christina who did everything they could to make sure our stay was a success. We had expected pool towels to be provided but there were only room towels. I would recommend to future visitors to take their own pool towel or buy one at the shops opposite. The restaurant had to obey Greek Corvid restrictions meaning that all the food was served by the staff which on occasions could lead to extra large portions being served. The food was generally well cooked and there was a reasonable amount of variety bearing in mind the size of the hotel and the cost of staying there. If you want 5 Star food then go to a 5 star hotel at 5 star prices. Spiros and Nasif ensured that the restaurant ran well and Suleiman was always there to serve generous portions. The person who we will really remember was Christos who ran the bar from 10am to 10pm. He was a very talented barman, magician, disc jockey, nurse, comedian and footballer. He ensured that everything ran well in the bar and pool area and due to the small size of the hotel there was hardly ever a queue for drinks at the bar and we were always able to find a sunbed next to the pool (but this might partly be due to our visit being in October!) There was no organised evening entertainment but as it is a small friendly hotel evenings were spent happily by the bar chatting to other visitors or playing card games. The Belmare is a short walk from the beach and we caught the daily excursion from Lardos Beach by boat to Lindos with a 3 hour stay there and then caught the boat back for a good day out. The Belmare is on a main road which curiously has a wealth of general shops and supermarkets but a shortage of small bars and tavernas. We totally enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return next year.
