  Amazing Sunset View but Rooms Are Outdated

  We came here to look at our wedding venue. They have a really beautiful chapel onsite called Ribbon chapel. Amazing architecture and we really loved it. We did not choose this place because the rooms are outdated in a way carpet have huge breach stains, wall paper is peeling off etc. When we stay at a hotel that claim 5 star, we expect the room to be at least presentable condition. Denim materials are really famous in this region and they have the room wear that is made by denim which was really nice touch. There was a small teddy bear made by denim for you to take home as their gift to you which was also very nice. They serve complimentary Ramen noodles from 9pm- at their bar area downstairs. We were too tired and jet lagged to try but if you have a chance you should definitely try as Ramen in this area are known to be very good. (onomichi ramen) I loved they picked us up and dropped us off from Hiroshima Airport which made is really convenient to visit this hotel. Drivers were very polite and informative, we took a scenery route to go to the hotel with ferry and going back to the airport we took faster route with no scenery. They have the spa area which is the public bath. It looks like onsen but it is not. Staff told us the hot spring ran out few years a go unfortunately. It is still nice though. Outside bath overlook the sea area and they also have korean spa style sauna. What we really loved was after the bath, there was area with coffee milk, milk, and egg ice cream all complimentary! Relaxing after bath is very important part of our Japanese culture and it was very nice touch. We ate dinner at "Kitchen" restaurant. It has decoration as if you are eating at the kitchen and it was very nice with open kitchen. Chiefs there trained in spain and meal was delicious. Room amenities were Bvlgari and I loved it! Breakfast was not included in our room rate and we had it at Japanese restaurant. It was absolutely amazing but it was almost $100 for two people and this is a buffet so flat rate. If you can afford it, definitely do go. We thought it was expensive but absolutely worth the price and we would do it again if we could. Overall everything was great except quality of the room.

  We will be back again

  We stayed at Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi from 4/6 April 2018. It was beyond our expectations and we enjoyed every single moment. Service was impeccable Good was excellent and staff were very friendly Strongly recommend to stay minimum 2 nights so u can have a good experience rather than rush to checkout the next morning.

  Fantastic Spa Resort

  This is the second time we visited Bella Vista! A great get-away with an excellent service, some great gourmet restaurants and a cozy pool area! Dont forget a trip to the small island off the coast! We will definitely be back!

  Almost perfect in every way

  What an amazing hotel!!! This is something seriously special with one of the most amazing locations for sunset Ive seen in Japan. The rooms are large and fully equipped with everything you need and they have a choice of restaurants (Japanese or Western), both of which serve excellent food. The spa area is sublime, especially the semi-outdoor onsen. I could have just stayed there looking out on the view the entire holiday! One tip though - book yourself onto the complimentary transfer from Onomichi station as its a 40 minute journey there and includes a short ferry crossing - the transfer just takes the stress out of finding the hotel. Amazing place and cant wait to go back there.

  Unique and beautiful.

  Whilst perched above a ship building town you could be 1000 miles away. Such a stunning view from every room. The service and restaurants here are second to none and the hospitality from the staff is professional and friendly. In all my years travel this in probably one of my favourite hotels and I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again one day.
