  One Night Stay

  We were only at the hotel for one night. It was okay. Our room was a bit small and it was right across from the front desk, I was a bit concerned that it might be noisy. What we quickly came to realize was that our windows were overlooking the outdoor dining area. Made me quite uncomfortable as we couldn't open the blinds and the bathroom window was directly by a loud fan. Overall we didn't spend much time in the room so we were able to overlook these aspects. The front desk provided us with a voucher for a restaurant at their sister hotel which we took advantage of ... can't remember what it's called! Breakfast was delicious and we were both delightfully surprised at the great quality and quantity.

  Small and friendly, as described!

  We booked a very late holiday with Tui, staying for a week in Bardolino. There was not much choice of hotels left, but the price was excellant, so went for this hotel, crossing the fingers. We needn't have worried, it turned out to be excellant. Not the big, flash hotel we last stayed in, but as described by Tui, as small and friendly. Family run, the room was smallish, but perfectly adequate as we were out all day. The air con was welcoming as quite hot, the bathroom was not flash, but a good shower and everything was nice and clean, with effecient black out blinds as well. The breakfast was excellant, the fresh cakes cooked every morning by the hostess, who always greeted us with a smile and personal welcome. This was more like a very personal bed and breakfast would be back home in the UK, if you were lucky to find one this good. We also liked the location, as we are keen walkers, the 15mins or so it took to get into town, along the lakeside, was a good walk, several times a day and made it quieter at night, away from the main part of Bardolino touristy area. There was a Lidl within a few hundred years in the other direction and we used it to buy bread and cheese and excellant local Bardolino wine at very low prices to take out for your picnics in the daytime. This was our sort of place, but may not suit if you prefer lux or very touristy surroundings.

  Small and friendly with exceptional staff

  Spent a week here and cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is nicely situated just two minutes from the lakeside and a ten minute walk from the centre of town.. We had a nice clean, comfortable room on the first floor which was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was excellent with an indoor and an open air area. The staff were first class and are a real asset to the Bardolino. On arrival at the hotel I discovered that I had left my phone on the bus and I can't thank Dominic (reception) enough, for the lengths he went to in recovering it. Both Dominic and Barbara his counterpart on reception, were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Tania, the breakfast lady was a joy, with a bright smile a friendly manner she got each day off to a bright and sunny start. All in all a lovely place and will definitely be returning.

  Wonderful

  We stayed here for a week booked with Tui. The price was very reasonable and we were not concerned at the 2 star rating as all the reviews looked great. We were exceptionally pleased with our stay. The room was basic but very clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was a few minutes walk from the lake and the bus stop outside. Barbara, Dominic and Tania were brilliant and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble, they seemed genuinely pleased to have us there. Highly recommendable, we had an awesome holiday.

  Italy Lake Garda - Hotel Bardolino

  We stayed at this hotel for a week in busy August and the moment we entered the hotel were made very welcome. The hotel is a traditional Italian family run business who cannot do enough for you. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with daily maid service. Breakfast was continental buffer style with lots of choice and hell yourself to juices and hot drinks. We also enjoyed one of the 3 free excursions the hotel offer each week. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Bardolino but I was a beautiful stroll along the Lake to Bardolino itself. We would definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation.
