Family tripOur visit in Bachledowka hotel *** was nice. Rooms are fairly clean, but quite small if you are in double standart and in need of a baby cot. Towels are in bad shape, would be nice if they invest and buy some new fluffy ones. Also towels haven't been changed during our 3 nights stay at all, even when we put them on the floor before the cleaning maid came in. They just put them back on the heating rail. Also, if you are using pool, don't leave towels (you have to take your own from room) in the basket for wet towels in changing room by pool, as there is a big deal to get a new fresh dry towels. Food was nice, quite a few things to choose from for dinner, breakfast the same choice every morning. Our daughter enjoyed the playroom for kids with lego and toys and pool with balls. Quite disappointed with cleanliness in public toilets (see pics), no one cleaned them as long as we stayed. Also, very few staff members can actually talk in english, so i presume more local people stays in this hotel. Lovely views when it's nice and sunny. Location close to Zakopane (20-25 min by car) and Chocholowskie termy aquapark (20 min by car). Overall nice stay.

Great Location in the Tatra MountainsThis is a wonderful destination location if you want seclusion and relative isolation. The hotel rooms are very nice, and breakfast is good, and there is a nice pool. If you want anything from a shop, be prepared to walk down a steep hill to the small town below, and conserve enough energy to climb back up. Traveling here with a car provides many more option for visiting local sites, including Zakopane. The views are quite beautiful, and well worth the visit.

Spectacular LocationComing from sea-level, this hotel, spa, and conference center in the Tarty Mountains was a true change of pace. The elevation is not so high as to make anyone uncomfortable -- and the scenery was majestic. The only "attraction" in the area is the Church dedicated to Our Lady of Jasna Gora, which is also a shrine to Stefan Cardinal Wysinski and to Pope John Paul. The hotel is situated on top of a hill, affording fantastic views in all directions. The rooms were neat & clean, the food was good, and the hotel provided some good amenities, including a terrific swimming pool.

Great panormaic view of the Tatra mountainsWe arrived just in time for new years eve. The hotel is in an excellent location to see a panoramic view of the Tatra mountains, if the weather cooperates. The views are great from all the rooms since the hotel is on top of a hill, but it is best to get a room from the south since you will see the main mountain range. It takes 20-30min to get to the hotel from Zakopane, there are no attractions or restaurants nearby, you will need a car to get everywhere. They have a great kitchen with excellent food, a pool and a kids area for the little ones to play. There is a church (Parish of Our Lady of Czestochowa) within walking distance(200m from the hotel) that is worth visiting. If you are into skiing there are several beginner/intermediate ski hills not too far away, Czerwienne Ski (2km), Suche Ski (7km), Witow Ski (18km). There are thermal pools not too far away also, Termy Chocolowski (15km) and Termy Szaflary (13km). If you want to hike you can go to Dolina Chcholowska(20km) or Morksie Oko(30km). See my other reviews on activities in the area. The hotel also organizes sleigh rides in the winter. We attended the new years eve celebration which was very fun. The hall was nicely decorated and the table settings were beautiful also, but the entire hall felt cramped, there were too many tables for the hall. The chief, as well as the kitchen staff, do an awesome job with the food. We must have ate two days worth of food in that one evening. First, there was an appetizer, then there was soup, then the main course, followed by dessert. If dinner did not fill you up there were plenty of cold snacks to munch on as well as a sweet table with artistic desserts. Throughout the night the band Ahaju Fusion Boliwia was providing tunes, which was on Poland has Talent. After dinner there was also some entertainment that was provided, mostly drinking games. 4 people had to drink shots off of a ski. Then there were guys that had to pound a nail into a log, with a hammer made of square steel tubing, quite difficult if you're drunk. Closer to midnight there was a photobooth in the hallway. At midnight there was champagne and a small firework show, but it was nice to stand on the balcony watching the fireworks all around the area, since you're on a hill you have a birds-eye view. After midnight there was more food, roasted pig, pierogies, sauerkraut to name a few. We were a little disappointed in the drinks, every couple got a 500ml of Absolute vodka, it was nice for people that drink vodka, I personally would have liked wine or whisky. Kids had their own activities in a separate area of the hotel. Overall it was a good celebration to ring in the new year. There is a lot of open fields and forests around the hotel, keep in mind that most is private property, the residents don't appreciate people trespassing, skiing/snowboarding, kids building snowmen in the middle of the property or dogs doing their business, and owners not picking it up. If you wouldn't want anyone to do any of the above on your property then don't do it to theirs. Our stay was good, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Will need to visit in the summer. Feel free to read some of my other reviews on activities in the area. If you have any questions feel free to ask. If you found this helpful feel free to hit the Thank button below. Happy Travels.
