  GREAT location, VERY old hotel

  Let's start with the positive: GREAT LOCATION -- the beach is just across the street and there is a little store beside the hotel that sells beach toys and sunscreen etc. The breakfast that is included is nothing spectacular: a regular continental breakfast of yogurts, cereals, coffee, tea, cold cuts and croissants. The cons of this hotel is that the bathrooms are VERY SMALL and the rooms are all old and very worn. The thing is, most hotels in Italy are like this unless you stay at an American chain hotel.

  Very good hotel

  Love this hotel and the location as well as the price. The cooking is typically Italien from the region Emilia Romagna. The rooms are nice and also very typical Italien. I can only recommend this hotel for holiday on the adriatic coast.

  We do not recommend, absolutly not

  Start with the positive, the employees are friendly and the rooms are clean, that´s it. The room is very small, dark and the furnitures are from the eigthies (outworned, defect). The TV has 30 inches, no English or German channels are available. We had a 4 person room, but only 2 chairs and no table to play cards with the kids e.g. The bathroom was horrible. We had to take the shower between the toilette and the bidet. All around is wet after the shower (take care, our daughter slided hardly). Concluded all is more than overaged. The food was not italian like/lousy (I know it, because of my dad is an italian). The beach was ok, but all attractions are old fashioned. The complete area is obsolete. Closed to the hotel is a parish fair for kids. Open until 12 p.m. We can´t sleep because of the extreme noisy music. Approx 200 meters away a hard rock bar plays extreme noisy music until 11 p.m. Due to this facts we can´t guess the hotel to spend your family holidays there.

  Dated hotel with terrible bathrooms.. Not suitable for families with small children.

  Upon arrival we are welcomed with a drink while the room is prepared for us. We get the key and are sent upstairs... What a disappointment. On the phone I clearly said that we wanted a group room and that we had 3 small children. However, we got an ordinary room with a bunk bed and a baby bed (foldable one). The bathroom was an absolute disaster. Everything crammed together and a shower without a cabin. So showering is impossible without wetting the whole bathroom. I also found a dirty cup with toothpaste rests in the bathroom. The floor is very slippery, so my youngest son slipped twice. The roller shutter didn't go all the way down, so it was never really dark in the bedroom. Breakfast was in order, friendly breakfast ladies. On the phone I was told that there was a safe parking that could be closed with a key for 10 per day. Upon arrival it turned out to be a narrow alley next to the hotel where all cars were parked. Here we had to park behind each other. Each time it was quite a maneuver to leave the parking lot. When we checked out we were not asked how we had experienced our stay, whether everything was to our liking,... Bizarre... Cesenatico is a beautiful seaside town. But next year we choose another hotel.
